Best magic store ever! I started my magic in this store and really love the game. The owner is an awesome guy! He helped me a lot and always give me good offers. This store literally changed my college life and helped me meet so many great people. I’m graduating but I will be back in town for the store!

Best magic store in Madison! Got perfect position on state street, excellent services and prices. The shop owner is really nice and helpful. There are different events for different formats weekly. Definitely a recommendation. (Bella is soooo cute)

I moved to Madison a few months ago and have felt so welcomed into the community at Gamer's Library. I think a large part of this is the atmosphere the Andrew, the owner, and his associates maintain in their store. Everyone is very respectful and lively. There are a multitude of free events throughout the week and a great selection of singles to purchase.

Great store in a really nice central location. Staff is all very friendly and also knowledgeable, they are clearly passionate about what they do! I've had many great experiences coming to hang out and also for MTG events there.

Also the store dog, Bella is adorable and a sweetheart

Wonderful store! A great stock of rare and new cards, particularly for the Magic nerds. Clean, inclusive, and respectful. Plus the owner has a lovely big dog and gave us free stuff!

We stopped by and found the sole employee to be friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, which is everything you want in a game store's staff because most people will come in with questions about the games they want if they're choosing to not order online. Unfortunately, apparently the game I wanted and it's entire expansion stock had been bought out which was a definite bummer, but anyone getting into board games for the first time could make this their first foray and would be well taken-care of.

This year, one of my New Years resolutions was to get back into playing a game I've always enjoyed in-person: Pokémon TCG. Not even half of the year in and I can safely say I've checked that off!

Not only did Gamer's Library provide an extremely welcoming environment, lovely staff, and great pricing when I first walked in, but they also fostered an incredible sense of community, as I was able to meet and play with people who enjoyed the Pokémon TCG as much as I do. They sincerely care about the Pokémon community and are actively making moves to promote the game, host their own Pokémon League, and hold events such as pre-releases. Their selection is great too, ranging from old collectible cards to the most playable cards in the meta. The store's location is optimal for anyone looking to meet downtown or for students at UW-Madison (as I was)! All I can say is that I wish I had known of the store sooner!

If you want to play Pokémon, MTG, or are just down to play some demo games, look no further than Gamer's Library. Could not recommend this store more!

The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The owner even helped me build a deck when I was very new to magic.

Excellent little shop in a great area of town. Whenever I travel, I try to visit a store like this in each city I go to, and Gamer's Library has been amazing.

Their staff are some of the most friendly and helpful I've had the opportunity to meet, and they have excellent product knowledge. Their inventory is excellent and displayed cleanly and is pleasing to the eyes.

I will definitely return whenever I have the opportunity to do so.

One of my favorite places to be!

The most memorable summer of my life was filled Magic and Klask sessions here, almost of which lasted until unhealthy hours of the night/morning. Shoutout Andrew, Madisson, Stav, Sarah, Bella, and everyone else involved in this amazing place.

The first day I walked into Gamer’s Library was a Sunday night at 9:50pm. The place was bustling and lively with no signs of rest anytime soon. I had to take a double take at the store hours, since I thought it was closing in 10 minutes. It turns out, it was actually supposed to close four hours ago. That night, my friends and I stayed past 2am jovially chatting with the store owner, Andrew, who introduced us to the community that is Magic: The Gathering. We learned how to play, the history of the game, strategy, and even got a starter deck. Every night we’ve gone back has been better than the last, from meeting Bella, their friendly Great Dane, to winning the draft tournament in Friday Night Magic. We’ve had countless regulars come up to us and introduce themselves, looking for friendship and perhaps even a game (P.S. they’re really good). There are Magic events every day of the week, Sunday Dungeons & Dragons, and a home if you are looking for it.

Great location, great staff and great space! The staff are always welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Pricing is competitive if not better than other lgs' in the area. Added bonus when the mascot (Bella the great Dane) is there, she is the sweetest 🥰

If you love casual collecting like I do, they have a lot of used cards from pokemon to magic you can browse from. Its nice to see a decent pool of older cards now adays.

my go to place for anything Magic: the Gathering! But if that's not your speed, they also have many board games, as well as Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, D&D, and more to try out! The employees and community are super welcoming, even (especially!) if you're new to any of those games!

Also: Bella. The bestest and goodest large dog/small horse you'll ever meet. If you're not into board or trading card games, at least say hi to Bella.

Andrew is the best kind of game store owner — a collectors, deck builder, and player. I’m from out of state and immediately felt welcomed and engaged with. Excitement and joy is really, imo, the only reason to play games, and I definitely felt both!

Had my first in-store event tonight and had a blast! Everyone was super welcoming and encouraged a very fun atmosphere! Plus there’s a dog :)

I stopped in here a few times during my first year of college and I loved the atmosphere! Their mascot is adorable, and there was a great selection of games, and nice sodas too!
