I recently moved to Melissa and I handle fulfillment for a business called Permaplug. I have used many different USPS locations over the years and the Melissa location is on top of their game. They always scan in the packages within a couple hours and are always very prompt, polite, and professional. Thank you, team!

What wonderful service! Most of the time you go into the post office and the clerks are already in a bad mood because they work for the government and they think it’s a requirement but not here. Polite, courteous and informative. Thank you so much.

I've been twice in two days and each time Angela went above and beyond to help me mail out materials for my business going to different states! She was seriously so helpful and kind. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

There are no words to express how grateful I am for the effort put fourth by the USPS staff and Post Master: Lisa Mathis. In the middle of USPS's holiday rush, I had a very special parcel lost in the mail. Unfortunately, this large parcel was filled with souvenirs I purchased for my parents while taking a trip around the world. These had a lot of sentimental value to me and were truly irreplaceable. After following the tracking daily for 2 weeks without any new updates, I knew something must have gone wrong. After calling the general USPS customer service, and visiting several post offices near me, I was told there wasn't much that could be done, beside creating a case number and waiting. In a last ditch effort to get any help locating my parcel before the Black Friday madness hit, I drove to the post office in Melissa in hopes to plead my case. I was greeted by Lisa Mathis, the postmaster at this facility. She listened to my story, took down every bit of usable information, and promised me she would use all of her resources to try and locate this package for me. I will admit at this point I left, accepting the package was gone. However, a few days later I received a personal phone call from Lisa. She wanted to let me know that she reached out to a fellow USPS employee at the sorting facility nearby and together they were able to locate my lost box. 2 days later, my box arrived safe and sound on my parents porch. Words can't describe the sentimental value of these items and how upset I was knowing there was nothing I could do to retrieve them. To have someone take such a personal and genuine interest in helping to solve my problem speaks volumes to this facilities work ethic and personal values. There is something to be said about the great employees of small town locations, and Melissa Texas has proved it. When they say they care, or they will help you, They mean it. To the USPS employees at the Melissa location, thank you.

It seems silly to me to rate a post office, but they are literally so nice each and every time. We moved to Melissa a year and a half ago and I just love our little post office and the employees.

We were awaiting a package that unknown to us was improperly addressed. The post office scanned as ready to be picked up at the office in hopes we would track the number and see the message. They could have easily marked it undeliverable and returned it to the sender. We appreciate the effort they made for us to get our package!

Love this post office. It is very small, but the gentleman at the front was very kind and patient. Efficient service, and it opens earlier than the McKinney location. A much more pleasant experience than the one in McKinney on 75.

Never knew Melissa, TX had a post office! Called them today and a LIVE person answered (Lisa)!! She was awesome. Lisa told me they received my note in my mailbox that a package was coming to me but did not have my physical address on it. Carrier picked up my note and it is be delivered today. SMALL TOWN LOVE. Much appreciated MELISSA TX. USPS.

This is the best little post office anywhere...I ship there daily and have never seen any post office employee give such personal attention. They are the nicest people who are always cheerful, helpful and kind. We are very lucky to have such wonderful people at our little hometown post office who truly care about each one of us and our shipping needs. Thank you so much! Laurie Craven

Always friendly and helpful. The hours of operation are not very helpful if you work during the day. Otherwise, you couldn't find a happier, nicer group of people. I wouldn't mind working there, everyone seems to be in a good mood all the time. They are willing to help you with any of your mail/package related problems.

One of my packages was lost and Lisa went above and beyond to help locate it and work on a replacement. Wonderful customer service. Thank you, Lisa.
