R&D Wholesale Nursery

This nursery is incredible! Plentiful varieties of trees, shrubs and flowers. Their stock is always healthy and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are the best in town too. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't been.

went to 5 other nurseries today before I found this wonderful nursery. no one else comes close to the good prices! many items where not labeled but didn't matter as it was 50% cheaper than other places in town if not more. we had a employee that helped with all questions and hauled a cart for us while we shopped and didn't push on the sales. Employees then loaded up my car and put a liner down and loaded up my car. I would recommend them as the fist stop for any landscaping in town.

We've bought a lot of our plants, trees, and shrubbery here. The staff is very knowledgeable. Also everything is actually appropriate for our zoning here in southeast Idaho where we have cold winters and hot summers. That's a big plus.

Amazing! My wife and I are anything but green thumbs. We redid our front landscaping this past summer and didn’t really know what we should plant. The gentlemen that helped us, I think it was Richard but I’m having a hard time remember from 6 months ago, was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. He didn’t make us feel dumb for not knowing anything about what to plant or how to care for the plants, but was very patient and descriptive as well as demonstrated how to care for the plants that we picked out. We have a planter bed in our backyard that we will be redoing (hopefully next summer) and will definitely be using R&D again.

My wife and I visited R&D about 2 weeks ago. While just wandering around, Richard drove up on his golf cart. He started answering our list of questions. What will grow in our soil, what will survive our wind in Blackhawk.etc. He was so helpful, patient, and knowledgeable! He told us to hop on his golf cart and he took us all over the lot. The inventory looked very healthy and the selection was great. We ended up picking out some beautiful royal raindrop crab apple trees and some shrubs. The pricing was great and Richard even gave my wife one of the flowers as his gift. They have our business for sure. Thanks Richard.

A friend, who is a professional landscape designer, introduced me to this place about 5 years ago. I still thank her every time I go back.This is hands down the BEST nursery in Idaho Falls. Excellent service. Their staff is more interested in getting you into the right plant/tree than just making a sale. Great prices. You will find the same plants that you see in the fancy nurseries at a fraction of the price. They only carry plants that will perform well in Idaho and will help you select the right plants/trees for your yard. I had an ugly flower bed on the North side of my home. They recommended a limelight hydrangea. I put in 6 (since their prices are good, I could afford 6). It is now one of my favorite spots in the yard. They have come back stronger each year and put out amazing blooms. I have purchased climbing roses, knockout roses, decorative blooming crabapple (that doesn't drop the berries in my lawn), Karl Foerster grass, Elderberry, daylillies, and more. Everything has done well and thrived in my yard. I highly recommend R&D.

We had been two nursery’s in Pocky and they were not helpful!

Right when we walked in to the purchasing, the customer service was a 10!! The employees new the plants and helped us design our flower bed.

By far the best nursery in the valley! Knowledgeable staff that make feel like I matter. I have saved thousands of dollars over the other nurseries in town and have had great success with the 150+ trees and plants I purchased. Why go anywhere else?

Knowledgeable, professional, patient and occasionally very very busy. A polite and patient customer will get the absolute best service available anywhere!. They will work to get you into the right plants and help you avoid those that might look great the first year, but simply have a tough time carving out life in this cool high desert without extraordinary care.

Big selection. Plants are always healthy and look great. They will put your plants in your vehicle for you which is great. They know exactly what they are talking about when I have asked questions about any plant or tree.

Probably the best place the vet landscape plant material for your yard! They have a great selection and inventory and will answer your questions! My favorite place to get plant material!

Seems ok. No prices on anything because they go through inventory quickly. The prices I did find out were not much, if any, better than the retail nurseries around. The man who helped me was quite preoccupied and answered his phone while I was trying to ask questions. Not the greatest service while I was there.
