A fun filled afternoon. We went today during the 12-4 session and got there about 2, not realizing that the admission cost was for the whole 4 hour session!! We’ll definitely be back! So much fun and we went so far out onto the ice!! The wait between runs was a bit but so worth every penny!!

Fun winter activities for kids and adults. The line can be long but it goes fast.
It is definitely an upgrade for a snow slide
Also we can enjoy beautiful view of the frozen lake mirror from above
Definitely a good fun for family activity

Great fun, good for all ages. Even when the line is long it's still an enjoyable experience. It's cash only, $15 a person $10 for a student. Check the times before you come because it's the same price for a whole session, so if you start near the end of the session you don't get as much out of your money.

Bucket list must do for the entire family. It was fun. We went during the day. But I walked by during and evening session and the vibe was rocking with the music and lights

Real fun place to go in the winter. You grab a toboggan then you wait in line. After that you sit down then they shoot you down the hill onto the ice of mirror lake. It is exhilarating ride time and time again. All in all a highlight of anyone's winter visit to Lake Placid NY.

Getting real time info for this is hard to get on the web. You can maybe gauge Mirror Lake's frozen status with web cams. We also did the dog sled and saw a pickup drive on the ice to deliver new dogs. Yes, ice was thick enough to support a truck!

My daughter and I climbed the platform in 15 degree wind chill weather. Bring thick gloves and ski goggles.

We slid all the way to the end that we tilted against a small snow bank.

Both dog sled and toboggan are not to be missed if you can beat the weather.

It was a toss up on the stars. Obviously it's a one of a kind and great fun! Only 2 real "complaints." 1, they used to run it at night which was a blast to do as well as to watch. 2, I don't know the logistics of icing an old olympic ski jump to make it go onto a lake, but I'd love to see a smoother transition to the ice on the lake. 3 days later and I'm way crippled. Watch my video, and you'll hear me grunt when we hit the bottom. Was only good for 2 runs because of it.

Well worth the ticket price and a ton of fun. You get unlimited rides with your ticket - at least you'll ride until you get sore. Classic entertainment in Lake Placid!

Great experience for children. A little harsh on back for older generation( if ya have issues). Price was fair. Hardest part was the wait in line which is to be expected.

This place is awesome! There technology game could use some help though. The posted hours on the website are wrong and they are still cash only

I did this in February 2019 and it was super fun. It was quite late so the guy just let us go for a run for free. As of 18th Jan 2020 it isn't open yet
