The Gulch Pub

Didn’t expect much, but the Gulch Pub was our only stop and eat option that was decently reasonable with price. My husband and I enjoyed the quiet, calm, and open atmosphere. The lower temps and cool breeze allowed for the doors to remain open, which I thought created a nice ambiance. The food was surprisingly good! We both got the basic burger (menu is concise and simple) and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend it if your taking the scenic drive or plan on walking around.

What an amazing last minute evening. Did a drive to see the leaves and decided to stop for a quick bite/cocktail. Ended up staying over 2 1/2 hours. Listened to live Bluegrass music played by @JimFish while enjoying some delicious cocktails and food. We had the Tempura Cauliflower and Poké bowl. For the amount of food served and quality the price was right. Bar was crowed but we found a table right next to the musicians. Only downside is our server never refilled or asked if we wanted more water. I had to ask for water and our check. The lobby/Pub views are amazing. Would I go back - Yes! Give it a try. The Old Fashion is worth it… Let me know what you think?

They ban snowboarding from the slopes, but not from this pub. Definitely get the hot tody!

Food is cooked to perfection, and the pizza is great. The bartenders are nice and professional.

Very friendly staff. Small lunch menu, but very tasty. The brussel sprouts with glaze and any of the burger options are my favorites.

This is the pub located inside the Snowpine Lodge. The food is good, reasonably priced (by mountain resort standards) and they have a nice selection of local beer. The menu was different than what you’ll see online but we tried a lot of things and liked it all. A nice, casual option for anyone in Alta.

I Just LOVE This Place! The food is fantastic and you can order from the main restaurant as well!!!! The staff is very friendly with excellent service! The crafted cocktails are stellar as well. Then their is the views! I almost think I'm in Austria
About the food- hands down the best in all of Little Cottonwood Canyon ( and probably everything between here and to the top of LCC - so stoked this is here...

We recently attended a wedding at the Cliff Lodge, Snowbird and were looking online for a good spot to eat where we didn't feel quite so captive. The Gulch Pub surfaced with its good online reviews and did not disappoint. The pub is located in the Snowpine Lodge - a beautiful spot that has recently been redone. Staff were friendly and attentive making us feel at ease. The pub is casual and appeared to have quite a few locals (great sign for good value and insight into things in the area). The food was perfect - gastropub is a more apt description. The waygu rueben was the best rueben my wife has ever had and I agreed with her after tasting. Fish tacos for my college age son satisfied. A nice selection of local beers topped it all off. Again, service was great. The view looking out makes for a relaxing place and we look forward to returning on our next tip to the SLC area.

Great burger, friendly servers and chef, fabulous atmosphere. Alta ski resort in the summer is gorgeous.

Wonderful and attentive staff, gorgeous views, great cocktails, and good food (though not many options).

Live music a couple times a week, and a very cozy atmosphere make this my go-to Alta pub.
