I’ve been shopping here every time we come to Ashland for nearly 15 years now. Cute shop in downtown Ashland, with a variety of beautiful jewelry, clothing, and other accessories. Over the years I’ve found several favorite jewelry items in my collection, all handmade locally. Elise, the owner, is friendly, helpful, and has great taste. I’ll keep coming back!

I have been going to Elise's store since it opened. Over the years I have been consistently delighted by her designs, displays, and diversity of items. Her selection of fine clothing and jewelry makes it easy to shop for a specific outfit for a special event and also for every day wear. Elise, her daughter, and staff are so welcoming and engage with you to learn what you are looking for offering suggestions and unique combinations. It's like shopping with a good friend. Shopping at Heart and Hands is a wonderful and enjoyable experience. I encourage you to go see for yourself.

I was really stressed to find something to wear to a semi-formal but chic wedding. I had lost hope after trying three stores, then I found Heart & Hand. Elise kept bringing me things that I would not have thought to try on. I ended up finding something that was WAY better than I imagined! She has a great eye and an incredible selection of tasteful clothing. I highly recommend!

This is the best boutique for cloths shopping in Ashland hands down. Elise Peters delivers an unparalleled retail experience. She knows every piece in the store and exactly what you should try on for your body type. I walked out with several items that I would have never looked at twice on the rack that I’m so glad I tried on thanks to her suggestions. She attentive and helpfully but not pushy or nosy. It’s a wonderful level of service that is rare these days.

This boutique is full of treasures. From basic everyday staples to one of a kind formal silk gowns designed by Elise herself.

I’ll make the trip to Ashland several times a year just to shop here.

She had many great suggestions and had me try some things I would not have picked out for myself but looked great on me. I was in Hearts & Hands this last weekend and found the softest, best fitting bamboo joggers! I have worn them two days in a row :) The shop owner (who is incredibly sweet) said I'd live in them and she was right! I want 5 more pairs ;) Highly recommend this boutique for conscious clothing.

Every time I travel to southern Oregon I make sure to come to this store. The jewelry is handmade by the owner and it is gorgeous!! The clothes are unique, well made and stunning. Elise is an amazing woman and delightful to shop from (and with). Highly recommended!

A great experience! The sales person stayed open later than normal to let us look. I had expected to buy nothing - I'm an xl and usually can't find my size in boutiques. She saw me and said I have a great dress that you have to try on and she was right! She was not a hard sell and was great at suggesting different items. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. I will be back the next time I'm in Ashland (3 weeks)!

Heart and Hands played an instrumental role in the proposal to my fiancee. In June, my girlfriend, Trina, and I visited Ashland to find a dress she could wear to my sister’s wedding. We visited Heart and Hands because the staff had been so kind and helpful to us last year when we were forced to evacuate our home in Redding, CA due to the Carr Fire. On this most recent visit, we met the owner, Elise Peters, who was just as helpful. Elise suggested wonderful accessories that masterfully accentuated the stunning dresses on offer. In the end, my girlfriend was won over by the torrent of unsolicited praise from another customer who preferred Trina in a majestic, silky teal dress. However, I couldn’t help but notice how deadly gorgeous Trina looked in this other silky white dress with a white, silk wrap. I would need to return for a secret purchase.

From grad school to new jobs to world travel to evacuating the Carr Fire, Trina and I have shared a lot, and there’s no one else I would rather spend the rest of my life with, so I made up my mind. I was finally going to propose. For the picture-perfect proposal, I needed Trina to be wearing the picture-perfect dress, so I called Elise at Heart & Hands in August to see if the dress and shawl Trina had tried on in June were still available. Not only were the dress and shawl available, but Elise agreed to send them to me, so I didn’t have to drive up to Ashland.

When the big day came, Trina received the gift toward the end of a day-long scavenger hunt I had crafted for her. She put on the outfit before she was picked up in an old MG and brought to the Sundial Bridge in Redding. This is where I proposed. She loves the dress and she loves the wrap! Oh, and she said YES!

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon and Elise was amazing at helping me find some new outfits. Her clothing lines are of exceptional quality and her own jewelry design is stunning. Heart and Hands, now Living Vision, is a most wonderful boutique. The shop owner, Elise, has helped me find beautiful and flattering garments at great price points for the quality multiple times. Elise can style just about any look a customer needs help with, from casual to formal. She also features accessories produced both around the globe and locally, by artists right here in the Rouge Valley. She and her shop are truly dedicated to uplifting women. I highly recommend visiting, no matter the occasion.

The most beautiful store ever and you’re met with such love by the ladies that work there and they help you more than any store I’ve ever been in! They are true fashionistas!

I am a fit, over 60 and looking for sophisticated, sexy apparel for a special occasion. Elise has beautiful timeless, flattering pieces that I was thrilled to find. I love the glamorous bias cut gowns and soft soy cloth, figure flattering gowns which remind me of 1940 styles.Elise designs many of the pieces herself and has a good eye for women flattering designs.
In addition to the clothing the service was excellent. Elise’s suggestions and encouragement helped me stretch but stay within my comfort zone I came home with comfortable, profoundly beautiful garments which make me feel glamorous, beautiful and comfortable.

Everything I have ordered from Heart and Hands Boutique has been of the best quality. The jewelry is beautifully designed and well-made. The silk masks are comfortable, durable and are so lovely they could considered fashion statements. The ordering process went smoothly and the items arrived promptly and in good shape.

I wandered into Heart & Hands yesterday on a rare day off, and it was like god wanted to give me a really nice gift - a shopping experience that unfolded into such a fun, surprising, indulgent hour of self - care and style discovery. I lived in San Francisco 35 years and my taste veers away from what I'd PREVIOUSLY perceived as hike-y, new - age-y Ashland style and toward a more polished, urban look. But Elise defines a much nicer Ashland style (her store has been in Ashland since 1991) and she has made such a beautiful shop full of such smart, chic, stylish pieces, many of which she's made herself! Gorgeous dresses, beautiful jewelry, fabulous hats! And very decent prices for very above average stuff. I ended up with three beautiful tops, a great pair of earrings, an elegant necklace, a very comfy mask, a classy scrunchie for my long hair, a custom-ordered skirt, and a desire to visit that store every chance I get.
