Dr. Hatfield and her staff are simply kind and professional. I took my 6 year old son for his eye exam yesterday and the tech was extremely patient and gentle with my son who has sensory issues. Dr. Hatfield was very aware of his needs, was flexible to use numbers vs letters in his exam and was supportive throughout as he tends to be very timid. We got some unexpected news and she also handled that with such grace. Wonderful experience at a beautiful office. I feel very safe and seen every time I or one of my children goes to this office.

The staff here just goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and honestly like family. Every time I come in, I am greeted with a smile and by name! How they remember me time and time again just gives me all the reassurance that they truly care about their clients and that I am not just another number walking through the door. Alina repaired a pair of glasses for me on a short notice as I was leaving out of town and I was so thankful for that as it was a huge worry for me. She put me at ease and is a true gem.

Dr Hatfield and the staff are amazing! They converted me to the Salt brand of frames and the lenses are stellar and so clear. You won’t be disappointed with this office. Great and professional! Five stars!

Such a great experience! All of the staff were so pleasant and helpful, the vibe of the office was very upbeat and not stuffy or pretentious, great selection of frames, my appointment happened on time, and they took care of insurance ahead of time. Plus, super convenient location with plentiful parking.

As always, Dr. Hatfield and staff always make me feel welcome and provide great care. Dr. Hatfield explains everything she’s doing and keeps track of any changes in my eye sight.

I have been going to Dr. Hatfield for years. She is very knowledgeable and caring. She always takes time to explain eye health and she does it with a positive, caring attitude! Her front desk lady is always pleasant and friendly and greets you an enthusiasm smile. The office is sparkly clean and comfortable! I definitely recommend the eyecare office!

I just had my first eye appointment at Tradewinds Eye Care Optical per the recommendation of my husband. This was the best eye appointment I ever had. The office was so relaxed and comfortable. Everything was explained to me in detail using terms I could understand. Buying new glasses was never so easy. The doctor and all employees were outstanding. This was a great experience. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Hatfield had time to check my eye when I thought I could have torn the retina. She was very thorough in examining the eye and was very kind and assuring that I had not torn it but need to watch it for a few weeks. I enjoy going to this office they are always pleasant and friendly.

I went to Tradewinds for the first time yesterday. The experience was awesome!! The staff and Kendra were so nice and helpful! I wanted to get contacts for my brothers upcoming wedding, Kendra fit me in a pair that are perfect! The last time I went to an eye doctor (it was in Cornelius) he told me I would have glaucoma at some point (?!?!?!?!) Yesterday I was told my eyes look great and are healthy! The other place tried 3 different times to find the right contact and never did! I highly recommend Tradewinds!!!

I found Tradewinds online, and I'm so glad I did! They definitely deserve all of their glowing 5-star reviews. From my initial phone call with Angie - who was very inviting and helpful - to picking out my new glasses, I had a wonderful experience all around. The ladies at this office go above and beyond, providing excellent and compassionate patient care. Susie, who did my pre-exam was polite and friendly. Dr. Hatfield is a lovely person. She's warm, thoughtful, and considerate. She kindly answered each one of my questions and explained what was going on with my eyes in detail. It was the most thorough eye exam I've had in years! Sarah was a joy to work with, as well. She's personable and professional. She and Angie worked together seamlessly to help me pick out my new glasses. They made the process fun and easy. After my experience, I ended up sending my mom to their office. Once again, they made a stellar impression. Angie was thoughtful and helpful as we had some questions about insurance, Dr. Hatfield discovered several things other doctors had missed, and Sarah spent extra time making sure my mom's glasses were right. You won't find a more thorough and considerate practice out there in any discipline! Highly recommend!

Dr Hatfield is the best optometrist around! I have been seeing her for years and now my children see her too! She is thorough, kind and gentle. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!
