Curry Hut East Side Indian Cuisine

If you are an Eastsider, you need to run, not walk to the Curry Hut. Fresh out of the gate this restaurant puts much more established ones to shame. The chai alone is worth it. But I also caught myself licking the tamarind chutney out of its dish and scooping the basmati rice with my perfectly charred garlic naan (who does that?). In their cuisine you will taste secondary and tertiary flavors that balance and sing the notes of mother India. While it looks like a take out joint, you can definitely have a pleasant sit-down experience here.

First time diners: staff were very kind and patient. We were so happy to learn that we could choose our level of spiciness. When we were done, we recieved a little dessert too. And we all had leftovers! We'll definitely be back soon to try different dishes!!

The food was absolutely delicious. They were short staffed and very busy, but our server remained cheerful and polite and did a great job taking care of our large group. We ate in the restaurant, but it is more of a takeout location, so not fancy. It was very clean.

Ordered lamb tikka masala, it was out of the planet, I loved it. Chicken tikka masala was delicious too. Definitely coming back to explore more.

Very good food. I had the Chicken Coconut Curry and Garlic Naan and it was amazingly good. I plan to frequent them often.

Cool enviranment in restaurant...food taste is fabulous like home made.... highly recommend to people who loves food.... especially the staff, Tara service is so impressive she is so cool

Absolutely delicious. Ordered the paneer pakora and samosa for appetizer, malai kofta and chicken coconut curry as entrees, and got Raita and paratha on the side, plus mango lassi.

Service was prompt & friendly; food was amazing. The dine in experience is casual, appears they do more takeout than anything.

Samosa dough was A+! Tender and flaky. Filling was unique and A++.

Will order again! Don’t miss out on Curry Hut!!

Delicious meal, great value, lovely people. Even though they also do carry out the sit down experience is really nice with real dishes, water and table service. Hope they're here for a long time to come!

Definitely the best Indian food I’ve had in Milwaukee. Definitely is more of a North Indian/Punjabi style, so it just depends what you’re going for. We tried Shahi Paneer and Chicken Rogan Josh along with garlic naan. The curries were really flavorful and the paneer and chicken were well cooked. The garlic naan was the freshest garlic naan I’ve seen in a while. Most Indian restaurants serve frozen or pre-made naan, but you could tell this was fresh. I do think the curries had a canned tomato base rather than fresh tomatoes, which isn’t ideal, but it’s understandable in restaurant settings. I just picked up, so not sure how overall service is, but it was good as far as pick up. The only issue was that the first time I tried to call to order there was no answer. Definitely will return to dine in.

Beautiful new little spot. Clean and good feeling. Service was above and beyond! Super friendly, even brought me an ice water while waiting on my to go order. The food was delicious and portion size was good.

Ordered for pick up and everything was perfect. Friendly service and delicious food. We ordered the garlic naan, vegetable somoa, and chili chicken (mild), and it was all soooo good. Super good bang for your buck. We will be ordering again for sure!

The most incredible Indian takeout I've ever had. We got samosas, garlic naan, Rogan Josh, and butter chicken. We had some leftovers but they only lasted until lunch the next day, my fiancee and I were both arguing about who got to take what to work with them, definitely going back!

i had a fruity kinda preztel desert. because my diabetic friend ordered and eggplant dish without rice. the desert was very good even though i can't pronounce it..

The food tastes genuinely home made! Eating it makes it feel like your Indian mother was cooking for you. We will definitely be making this a staple of our takeout date night options.

Great service. I had butter chicken garlic Naan, and jalebi. All served fresh and to order. I recommended this place.

Space isn't much to impress, but who needs ambiance with goat rogan josh this excellent!

The Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan were great alone and together. The fried potato pancakes made a fantastic appetizer as well.
