You have gained a returning customer. I am new to the Fort Mill area and walked up and down Main Street to check out the local businesses. Ironically I needed to order bow ties for my wedding coming up in a couple months. Randall couldn’t have been more accommodating and informative. He provided swatches of fabric for me to take home to my fiancée. We live out of state currently and from the time I ordered two bow ties to them showing up at my door step was 2 days. As a first time customer, I ordered a bow tie and cummerbund set for my wedding and realized a week before the wedding that I inadvertently shipped the set to a wrong and unrelated address. Without even having the first set back in hand, R. Hanauer immediately cut me a new set and had it shipped via USPS priority so that it would arrive in time for the wedding, all at no additional cost. I've worn a R Hanauer formal bow tie for years. The quality is unquestionable. It's still going strong. I recently decided to add a black watch bow tie and cummerbund. An email to R Hanauer to ask why I found the bow tie and not the cummerbund yielded a prompt response and explanation about back ordered fabric, followed by an email when the fabric arrived complete with a link to the item in the on-line catalog. The commitment to customer service matches my long standing experience with the quality of the product.

My daughter will be married in July and, as father-of-the-bride, I don't get to do much more than write the checks -- no shopping for wedding gowns or bridesmaids' dresses, no browsing for the mother-of-the-bride, nor groom and groomsmen suits and ties. But the groom and company are wearing dark blue and the bridesmaids, pink. After seeing "Phantom Thread" I was convinced any bowtie of the quality worn by Daniel Day-Lewis would be just the ticket. I found R. Hanauer custom bow ties online, queried them, and they suggested the perfect pink with navy Vero dots all-silk butterfly. While I was at it, I bought another of more traditional (2-1/4") width in navy with tiny white pin dots. Both are beautiful ties. They've moved into the top tier of my collection. Then on another visit, I saw the red bow with white pin dots, and went for it, too. The prices are great, the fabric lush silk, the craftsmanship excellent, the packaging sophisticated, and (from dealings by email) the folks are grand. Cannot recommend R. Hanauer more highly.
