Rough Riders Cafe

It's such an awesome place with super friendly people. It's very laid back, and the service is second to none. The drinks are made fresh and with care. (The owner is a coffee aficionado) I love the mix of history with modern and that it's a variety store and cafe. The hot chocolate is amazing. They do have a lot of varieties of coffee, but I prefer my hot chocolate. First time in, and I would think we were family. Stop in and grab a cup of joe and a snack on your way to work. You'll skip that nasty starjunk after having the real deal.

Stopped by and got a latte and it was so good I came back the next morning! Love the atmosphere and chief the cafe dog! The patio is the perfect place to hang and work a little or chat with a friend. Will be back next time I am in Monroe!

Had the nicest experience this afternoon with my first stop in. The barista was very welcoming and sweet, and recommended the campfire latte. It was amazing down to every little detail, including roasted marshmallows on top. I loved the shop with its different camping and michigan themed crafts and necessities. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Super cute shop with a homey atmosphere and great service. The coffee is incredible and their shop dog was the sweetest.

Stopped by on the way to Toledo when we wanted a cup of coffee. The owner was in and we really enjoyed talking to her about the shop. They clearly opened it with a lot of heart and history in mind. Thank you for the great coffee and awesome vibe!
