Nice rest stop. Convenient with vending machine the bathroom information. Children's play area on the other side of the parking lot. Picnic tables and grills.

Huge parking lot, clean bathrooms, some very limited vending machines. There is a closed off area where they appear to sell brochures and maps maybe? (is that even still a thing? LOL)

**Nice looking large playground!!

Display of labeled boulders with fossils and other types of rocks around the landscaped building. If you are into rocks like myself, it's worth the stop to check these out I'm my opinion.

Great welcome center. Maps and activity books available (limited hours). They have a family bathroom. Vending machines indoors. Rock garden outside. Children’s play area (fenced in). Dog run.

Cool guy rest area. Michigan keeps their rest stops Clean. This one has a huge playground, a discovery trail, info booths, pet area, picnic area, and restrooms. Was entirely too crowded though.

I'm very grateful Michigan has such a terrific welcome visitor's center. I always make a point to do a pit stop here to stretch my legs for the final leg journey back home to Ontario. Parents, your kids can enjoy a terrific fenced play ground and burn off some steam. The play ground is even accessible and handicap friendly. For those traveling with skittish pets there is enough of a quiet wooded / treed area where your dog can sniff around. You may hear gun shots while there, but fret not, there is a gun club range just a bit further north. All around clean washrooms. Now back on the road to put on some miles! One of the best designed rest areas in America where you enter from the far side which allows you to scout for parking and loop back if necessary. ALL rest areas should be designed this way rather than the typical one direction in-out allowing no possibility of loop back

Stopped here for a restroom break. There were loads of pamphlets with information on all the fun Michigan has to offer. Vending machines were also available.

Driving from Ohio to Michigan I stopped to get a coke. There is a large area where you can buy souvenirs and read a bit about Michigan history. The restrooms are large and made touchless to wash and dry your hands. There is a picnic area along side a playground. Bonus for traveling with kids. Very clean and well kept both inside and out.

My family loves stopping here on the way to visit other family members! I'm so glad that there's a wonderful, fenced in playground here! There's also room for dogs to run around. It's nice that they have a family restroom!

This is one of the coolest welcome centers I've seen. Lots of pamphlets and info on Michigan inside. Plenty of well-kept bathrooms. Nice picnic tables and landscaping outside. I thought the large rocks with identifying information on where mined locally in Michigan was neat!

This had to have been one of the best rest stops I have ever been to. I had not planned on getting out of the car at all, but then I started noticing signs posted on different spots, and curiosity got the best of me. There was a wonderful sign saying that masks needed to be worn everywhere at the stop. The was a historical sign talking about all of the significant Cival War sites in the area. But best of all, they have a "trail" that you can walk. By following some musical notes around the place, you get some much needed exercise in. Walk it 10 times, and you have walked a mile... what a great idea! I went into the building to ask if it played a particular song, and was told by the man behind the counter that it was Rocky Top... but then the security guy said that it was Doe Ray Me... which, apon returning to the trail, was right. A very nice, clean, full service rest stop! And they even have recycle bins! What more could you ask for?

This is one of the nicest rest stops I've ever seen, exceptionally clean! Tons of brochures to find whatever activities you'd like. There is a beautiful playground and an area to picnic and walk your dog.

Bathrooms were nice, there were 2 women's restrooms and 2 men's restrooms. They had a huge selection of tourist guides and pamphlets to pick from and they were grouped by region.

Very clean and well managed. Every time I'm here, the store is closed but the vending machines are running.
