Baguette House & Cafe

I absolutely love this place. My partner and I have been eating here about once a week since we discovered it. The bread is perfectly crispy and the meat is amazing. Also recommend the bao which was fantastic. There's also vegetarian options.

This has been one of our favorite banh mi spots in Austin for years. We love their baguettes! The price is reasonable and honestly they are so good. My kids love it too! We always order their #1.

I have eaten here probably 20 times even though I live 4 hours from here. I make a special stop off of I37 and try to time Austin for when I will be hungry. I get the chicken Banh Mi usually although sometimes Grilled Beef. It is always excellent. The sandwich is the perfect size. If I ate like this every day I would lose a little weight, but only very slowly. Its a great lunch or dinner. A child of mine would eat it for breakfast. Given the prices of less than $7 it is also one of the more economical places. I have only had the Banh Mi.

This place never disappoints. It’s always the same quality so you know what you are getting. It’s definitely not fancy or anything but great value for how much you pay.

I’m a regular here and definitely recommend it if you want to try it out.

Delicious crispy sandwiches. Hard to find a place here with pate and house specials. We were going to try the food trucks but ended up here. We used to pick these up and take them to San Antonio too. Very good service and quick. We will be back. Thank you!

Great banh mi sandwiches. Great value. Every time I came in there, I get three sandwiches and freeze them. I like this new find !

Fast counter service type of place. My go to is the vegetarian bahn mi, which is a tofu/seitan mix that's super juicy, plenty of pickled veg and cilantro on the freshest crunchy baguette. Huge and only like $7.

Bought 2 fresh baked plain baguettes to go here for under $2. They arrived at their final destination almost 3 hours later and were still just delicately crunchy. So good dipped in chicken curry! They also sell pate chaud. The price for the banh mi seemed a little steep compared to Houston though.

No frills, fast service, fresh bread. You can also order ahead! Hard to find a better lunch for under $10 in Austin.

Love the bbq sandwiches and ice coffee! Love their jerky when it is available. Love this place for long time. A d owners are good people. We miss Kevin, who ran Pho Viet. He moved back to CA years ago and we wish him well. Tell him Marvin misses him!!

I think this spot is the closest you can get to San Jose, CA, which is infamous for having a large Vietnamese community and delicious Bahn Mi. I ordered Xa Xiu pork for under $5. The Pate Chaud was a really incredible savory treat...it’s a small meat hand pie for $2! Vietnamese coffee was on point. Excellent way to start the day

I have since returned and ordered other Bahn Mi (grilled beef) and was not disappointed. It was more expensive than the xa xiu, but it was worth the extra dollar.

Crunchy and soft, perfect baguettes. Fresh veggies, the in house mayo is tangy and sweet. The spring rolls are fresh and super tasty too. No long waits here!

Baguette house makes a classic banh-mi. The bread is authentic, the portion generous, and the fillings fresh and bright. In a nod to American tastes, the jalapeño slices are served on the side.

A variety of coffee drinks, soft drinks, smoothies, juices and Vietnamese tea are served, along with traditional Vietnamese desserts and scoops of Blue Bell ice cream.

The average price is $5, and they have a range of sandwiches from authentic Vietnamese to contemporary hometown American. Also served are rice bowls, croissants, and both savory and sweet pastries.

Best Vietnamese sandwiches in town for the value. I usually get at least 4-5 of their sandwiches to go for myself and keep them in the fridge because they taste incredible toasted up in the oven. Just make sure you get the picked veggies on the side if you do that. Highly recommend this place!

Friendly and fast service, and serves what a Vietnamese sandwich should taste like. I daydream about their sandwiches from time to time and this is my go to place in Austin if I'm ever craving a Vietnamese sandwich.

Me and fiancé love this place. He’s Vietnamese and showed me his favorite spot . I love the number 11 and always get extra sauce . I love the fresh veggie’s cilantro, pickled carrots and cucumber . It’s always quick and easy and pretty reasonably priced well . I like adding a little more crisp to my bagget and put it in the air fryer for 2 mins or less and taste so amazing .
