This place will cause severe Nostalgia for anyone who has been to an authentic restaurant in Iran.
The atmosphere is 10/10 on feeling like Iran!
And the food …WOW ... Perfect .... Phenomenal !!!

When I want koobideh kabob or ghormeh sabzi, this is where I go. I have been going here for years and it's always good food. The prices are fair for what you get and it always has been fresh and delicious.

This meal is worth $8.99 whit a small appetizer, the food is ready at the buffet it's good because I'm not waste my time break at work

This grilled chicken, half salad and half rice, was excellent, neither overcooked nor raw, I recommend that try it.

Orchid is my Favorite Persian restaurant around here . Love the lunch special Buffet . They serve you . Yummy chicken pieces , rice with raisins & rice with dill & favs beans , comes with bread , tomato & 1 side . Very good price too .

This place is not for a date night. It is more of a catering place. Great food! good price! great owners helpful honest hardworking. I give the food 4 because I have had better kabob but for that you must go another hour away. Taraneh is the Mom and Kamal is the son. Lovely ppl.

Fantastic Iranian food. Enjoyed all the koobideh, and the Sabzi Gormeh was fabulous. Enjoyed leftovers the next day that tasted great.

Very nice portions of food and very freshly made. Attentive staff makes this place a must for me whenever I am hungry and in the area.

I was reading the reviews,a dude was complaining why shish kebab kebab doesn't come with the ketchup,
Well it looks like you put ketchup on sushi😂😂😂 anyway, it was my first time, I picked up a boneless chicken,and I am very picky in Persian food , honestly it was one of the best chicken kebab I ever tried in LA County, The lady on the front was very respectful and smiling face too👍

Top quality food with competitive prices. If you are in need of catering, they will negotiate a price that is even lower than what they advertised. Lastly their portions are huge and you will definitely have some leftovers.

The place is small so there's not much of ambiances but the food is amazing always.

Persian food and the scene at this place is super good. Great food with quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and observant. It has a cool atmosphere. Reminds me of a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed.

We absolutely love this restaurant. We stop here on our way home every time we have to go to the LA area. All so that we can order their chicken breast kabobs and beef (top sirloin or filet mignon) kabobs and their basmati rice with saffron. They have a great lunch buffet also. They didn't have the buffet the last time we come through. My daughter ordered the lunch double chicken entree and enjoyed it very much. The prices are reasonable. The place was very busy for lunch. The food is delicious. They have a great catering menu also for up to 20 people for $200. Can't beat it. And they even send the catering as far as Santa Barbara. Which is great news for us. As we live in Ojai. We look forward to our next meal from them.

Me & my wife have tryed a few other places that were supposed to be authentic kabob. Orchid Grill Kabob is the place you want to get your grub on, it is highly recommended, and i never give 5 stars. But this one i did!

Their stews such as Gehmeh and Karafsh are not delicious. They don't know how to make their stews delicious. On the other hand their kabobs are good. I like to get their special which is a out $15 which gets me 3 skewers of koobideh and rice and tomato. It is delicious, economical and feeds 3 people.

The food is excellent, really worth the money. If you need anything extra just ask, they give it to you for free with smile. Ali helped me out today, he is super nice. Thanks

Big fan of their food. Have tried nearly all the persian restaurants on ventura since moving to the states and this one oddly seems to be the best. I say oddly because their prices are extremely reasonable and their location not ideal. Wouldn't recommend for date night but if you're hungry and want great iranian food then this is your place.
