Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

Amazing experience, fantastic food. The service was top notch with a warm welcoming atmosphere. The lamb might have been my favorite meat, but it was all wonderful. George was our server and he took care of us. I went with my son and his family as well as my wife and daughter. We all walked out of the edge of overstuffed and happy. The acacia cheesecake was the favorite dessert.

The atmosphere is unique and inviting. We took the liberty of sitting in the bar area mid afternoon, to see if we wanted the full indulgence of the food bar and full meat array. We were celebrating a birthday and wanted to eat light. This was absolutely possible, seeing as we ordered smaller plates from the all day happy hour and sharable plates menu. It did take longer than expected, even though it was 2:45pm & a very small group of patrons in the restaurant.
Food was very flavorful and did not disappoint. We had grilled beef tenderloin skewers, spiced chicken sliders & palm/spinach dip. Great all the way around. The surprisingly long wait for the few items was the only downfall.

Fogo de Chão is a new Brazilian steak house that inhabits what was once P.F. Chang's. The space is clean and large and is extremely spacious. You can get single dishes, but the best experience is
As my friend calls it, "meats around the world". Where you get a rotating sample of the various meats, plus access to the market table and soup bar.
The market table is an assortment of dried meats, cheeses, fruits, and salads of a South Brazilian style. This alone can fill you up quite easily, but save room for the meats that come circulating throughout the restaurant once your placard is turned to green.
The food is good and ample, and the servers will continuously come to your table, offering more meat as long as your placard is placed to green. Some styles of meat make a more regular appearance than others, so if there is anything specific you wish to try and haven't seen yet, feel free to ask.
Bring an empty belly and hearty appetite, and if you go during lunchtime, you'll save yourself a few dollars here or there. Enjoy!

On 03/23/24, I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at the Thousand Oaks location, made even more memorable by the impeccable service provided by our server Matthew, who was graciously assisted by Terry to ensure that every guest had a delightful and satisfying meal. I also enjoyed the desserts me and my partner had ordered which were a tres leches cake, and the creme brulee.

I wholeheartedly recommend revisiting this establishment to all my friends and family.

Love the atmosphere of this place. Very lively and energetic. Great options all around. You’ll spend over 300 for 4 people but worth the experience if you’ve never done table side skewered meat. There salad/charcuterie bar is top notch.

Just opened in Thousand Oaks and the place was slammed, Saturday at 5 pm...what pending recession? Serving staff was awesome...friendly and efficient, food was delicious and parking is close. We went for the full Brazilian Experience for $69. Located at the Lakes in the old P F. Changs location...the establishment has a ton of outdoor seating and a warming fireplace to greet diners. I especially like drinks "happy hour" all day, every day. The Jorge's Sour, with Woodford Reserve Bourbon was amazing.

Perfect on all accounts. Food was amazing, the meat was so good. The staff were also really great. I really liked the atmosphere, it was super great. I’m moving to Rio de Janeiro in a few weeks and this definitely got me excited 🇧🇷

Beautiful and upscale decor and ambience. Ashley and Chris were attentive and made our dining experience even more amazing. The food and the various cuts of meat they brought to the table were exceptional.

This was our second time here and we had another great experience. Special anniversary for us so we knew this was going to be at least 1+ hour dining excursion. Food was delicious and Grazi was so good to us. She made some great wine recommendations and helped pair sides with the different meats. She knows Brazilian dining thanks to her background so it was natural for her to help us with the right combinations. We are looking forward to our next visit!! Keep up the great work.

Jozi was amazing! The meat that she brought us was wonderful. Everything was prepared with excellence. You truly get your money’s worth here. Too many fine dining places you feel like you overpaid and the quality or the portions was not worth it - not here. Fogo de Chao is a must stop if you’re in the area.

Went here for my boyfriend's birthday. Absolutely amazing total food experience. I really recommend the sambia martini and the New York cheescake creme brulee. Our server John was incredible and really helped to make the night perfect!

I have been eating at Restaurants a lot, but today I had the opportunity of understanding and learning what a great service really is.
Grazi, a Brazilian server at Fogo de Chao was 20 out of 10. She was second to none, the best server I have ever seen
If you have the chance to ask for her do not doubt it. You won't regret it

A must try! Chrissy always makes the evening extra special with her attentiveness and enthusiasm. Her customer service is top tier and reason why I keep coming back. In addition, drinks and food are 10/10 with a beautiful scenery.

This is a very interesting Bar-B-Q place. The salad bar is a meal by itself, but if you continue from there, the varieties of meat are unbelievable. The place itself is elegant but comfortable and inviting. It's a really great place to spend an amazing evening.

I've been to many Fogo de Chão restaurants and this is by far one of the best ones, with a better buffet selection. Grazi made it all more wonderful with her warmth, friendliness, and attention to service. She was constantly checking in with me and made me feel welcomed. The food is outstanding! The young barbecue server (girl) was also super kind and kept checking on me. I will certainly be back soon!

Such a great experience!! We came to celebrate my Aunt's birthday with a group of 12. We sat in the semi-private room in the back of the restaurant and had such a lovely time. Ashley, our server was so patient with the group and made sure everyone was comfortable with the full dining experience before getting started. She was thorough with answering our questions and took care of us the entire 3 hours we were there. Huge props to her for handling our large party with grace and expertise! The whole staff was attentive and made our experience enjoyable. Overall such a great experience!

This place is awesome! I highly recommend it. First off it's nice when you have friendly helpful people serving you. They're the best. I guess you call it the salad bar that has an amazing selection. Then they bring you little cheese rolls and these other grilled cheese with a dash of honey or spectacular. Then the main course just kept coming from prime top sirloin, lamb chops, chicken, pork. It was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back.
