The Toasted Pickle Rockford

Great food in a fun space right next to the dam!!! Lots of great vegetarian options and even some vegan options!! The fresh lemonade with a variety of flavors was a real treat! Will be back for sure 😊

I'm a bit of a French Dip snob, and I have to say, the French Dip I had at the Toasted Pickle in Rockford today was one of the best I've ever had. 9 outta 10. My husband had the Tipsy Texan, and he rated it an 8 out of 10. (This is a very high score coming from him!) The beer battered fries were a solid 7... a teensy tiny bit over seasoned but otherwise very good! Downtown Rockford is adorable, and we had no idea... we'll definitely be back to explore, and we will certainly be returning to The Toasted Pickle!

Wow this place is so good!! We ordered food and sat outside, had a good time🤗 the food is very good, we ordered a Michigan Cherry salad and a Pub burger. Both were delicious! Also they have beer battered fries, very salty and flavorful which is how I prefer. The entrees don't come with a side, unfortunately. We came here a few times when it was the restaurant Ramona's Table, so bad mixed feelings comparing the two, but overall was good food and we left satisfied 😊

Everything was so delicious!!!! There was about a 15 minute wait to get into the restaurant, but it was so worth it. The workers are friendly and they looked like they were having a lot of fun. The green goddess grilled cheese was SO good, and so were the pickle poppers and the truffle fries. I 100% recommend trying this restaurant. I'm definitely glad I got to while I was in town!

Quiet, local, flavorful. Every box hit for a week night dinner.

We ate there for the first time today. The food was SPECTACULAR! Their brussels sprouts- no words on how good they are. Their mixed drinks were also amazing. We will be back! Take note, you don't get waited on. You can either order at the counter or you can order from your table using a QR code. They do however serve you your drinks and food. Cute, fun place.

When we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we had been there in the past. We informed the gentleman that we had not. He educated us on the process of ordering and we went to find a seat and have a look around. Beautiful and unique building and motif. After going through the remarkably easy mobile ordering, we were treated to an amazing meal. Great experience all around that I couldn't more highly recommend.

Nice spot for a meal. Enjoyed a grilled cheese🧀 with a shot of tomato soup🍅 (can order a half or full sandwich) and fresh squeezed lemonade.🍋 Liked the pickle appetizer too.🥒 Supposed to be nice sitting outside on the deck by the water, but it was rainy when we visited...which made the grilled cheese and soup even better! Oh and the chocolate cookies are super yummy! 🍪

I visit family in Michigan at least once a year and the Toasted Pickle is always a priority. Fast service, friendly staff, great cocktails and the food is amazing. The Nashville Hottie (half) is spicy and zesty, a must have. My husband always gets the High Nooner (half), it’s one of his favorite chicken sandwiches anywhere. The prices are definitely reasonable compared to other restaurants in the vicinity and the outdoor patio is great.

The food was outstanding. You order from your table and pay prior to eating, I found that odd. It did make service go faster so if you're looking for a good food and quick service, definitely a great option. If you're looking for personal service, may want to ensure you understand the process they are using. Overall, very pleased. The folks were friendly, the food was very good and service was quick.

Outstanding little restaurant with free parking and easy access, located near the dam downtown. Jamburger and truffle fries I ordered were like a taste of heaven, and I highly recommend both -- you won't be disappointed! Fast, friendly service in a cozy, cheerful atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

One of the best deals out there - generous portions of excellent food at very low prices. The outdoor seating is great!

The Toasted Pickle is SO SO good. I went there with my family and I got the Green Goddess which came with a small side of the tomato soup for dipping and the Beer Battered Fries. It was so good, and probably the best fries I've ever eaten. I ten of ten recommend. There's plenty of room (up and downstairs) and the works are very nice.

The Nashville Hottie is the only sandwich I come here for and always get a side of Brussels. This sandwich is ELITE and so are the Brussels. This is honestly in my top 3 chicken sandwiches I've had... EVER. The best part about it is you can get it to go and snag a brew from their neighbor, Rockford Brewing, and enjoy a nice meal in RORA by the water. Or they have draft beer and cocktails here too if you dine in! I will continue to come back for this chicken sandwich and brussel sprouts.

Just decided to stop here randomly for a quick bite after biking. Had the Nashville Hottie with a side of their Hottie Waffle Fries. It was delicious, quickly served and very filling! It feels priced a little high but tasted great.

Everything was sooooo good. “The hooker” fish sandwich. The “smokin dragon” pulled pork sandwich. The “hottie sweet potato fries” the cheesecake! The fresh squeezed lemonade. Best meal we’ve had in awhile

Very cool location. Much different than the one in Grand Haven. I enjoyed sitting upstairs, on a slower day it's very private up there. As a vegetarian the green goddess and $3 up charge for a cup of soup is my go to.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time today. The service and kindness of the employees was the first thing to stand out. The next star of the show was the food. I got the Crusty Cuban and Truffle Fries. Hands down the best fries I’ve ever had and the sandwich was phenomenal. My wife got the Jalapenio Popper Grilled Cheese and Sweet Potatoe Waffle Fries. To quote her; “This is made by Frankenstein, it’s like nothing I’ve had and it’s amazing, this is the best food I’ve had at a restaurant in quite some time”. We will definitely be back!!!
