Despite seeing some of the negative reviews we gave this place a shot. All I can say is we we're not disappointed.

The server brought chips and salsa as soon as we sat down "which are delicious and homemade". I ordered a Chili Relleno plate and the Wife had the Taco lunch special. We had our food within 15 minutes from the time we sat down. Food was delicous, especially the refried beans.

We will definitely be coming back next time we're in the area.

The food is really good and their prices are also good. I got the quesabirria tacos and 3 tacos de carne asada. Taco Tuesdays for 2 bucks a taco can't beat that. The waitress is soo hot. She got all the curves!

Quite place to have breakfast after 8 A.M.

There was only one other table while I was here, but i was looking to work on my laptop and have breakfast in peace.

First cup of coffee was from the day before and simply gross and burnt. I wish servers didn't lie when I know what I know. It was kept over and reheated because she was ill prepared. The second cup was just fine as she made a new and fresh pot.

Menu is a bit clumsy and heavily Spanish for those who failed to pay attention in hi-school or college Spanish as I did. Order what you want they probably have it. I ordered bacon and eggs over easy with hashbrowns and it was very acceptable.

As a fun note. As I sit here writing this review, a woman with a caserolle dish came into to pick up her chile relleno. She placed it in the dish asked for more sauce to make sure it was all covered and walked out like she made it herself.

I like this place. It has its quirks that may or may not be worked out. The quiet of bygone starbucks is worth the visit that requires a little coaching. The coffee once made is a hot drinkable temperature with refills for only 3 bucks plus your breakfast.

Bring cash. As so many places now do, they charge a fee on the check after the fact for the use of a credit card. Not a big deal, but why spend $1.25 when you don't need to.

Has potential, but beware the potholes.

Don't order the pararillad Mar y tierra....just order one or two fajitas. it's the same for one third the price or more.

Alcohol is a worse value than a corporate restaurant. They don't know how to run a bar. literally a lack of knowledge and simply out of their depth.

Order the beer on tap. The exact opposite is true with the beer and 805 tall pictured here is only $4.95. Now that I think about it I should have ordered 2 shots paid the price of what would equal one shot and drank the inexpensive beer and called it even.

With these tips you love this place.

Great service and food. Restroom, men's was very clean to.

Came in with my wife for lunch. Had the Birria taco plate. Food was amazing quick and staff was tenitive. Definitely be returning.

I had a drink at the bar. The bartenders service was great, drinks were served quick.

Authentic mexican restaurant. I had the Super Burrito w/carnita and a Quesobirria Taco which were both excellent. My wife had a Quesadilla w/birria plate which was equally good and it came with nice thick chips and salsa. Friendly staff, nice decor with ample indoor seating and a few spots outside. Highly recommended.

My favorite place the waitress are polite , friendly and attentive. The food is fantastic I never leave hungry. The drinks are great too. Dinner and drinks for 2 for under $50 . Quality service , delicious food, and affordable 👍

I liked this place. The girl who served my drink and my friends drink was amazing she was very nice and understanding. Hope they get some apple flavored liquor though. I’d definitely revisit when hitting up Galt.

I had been craving menudo and first time trying this restaurant and I have to say it was delicious and surprisingly affordable a large serving with all the trimmings about 2 servings $6.5 per serving definitely will be ordering and dining in again

Got my usual Carne asada fries and decided to try a chicken tamle with green sauce, it was light and fluffy but the green sauce was a bit too sour for my liking. Always friendly service, I did notice that there is an extra charge using credit card.

Excellent food, terrific service, friendly family friendly atmosphere. Give it a try and if you're not sure what to order trust the staff, their recommendation should not disappoint.

Family owned restaurant with courteous service and a variety of delicious food. The food comes out very quickly too! As for now my favorite dish is the Zesty Shrimp dinner (Camarones Zarandeados)

What an amazing new Mexican restaurant my wife and I found. They have an amazing menu and the food is as good as it can get!! Definitely going to be back soon 😃

I love the food here,as I do from the compadres store... same family business... I totally recommend it,only if you like real authentic Mexican food,not the kind that is half americanized because than ur not eating the true meaning of Mexican food

This place is good Mexican food. My new go to awesome to see another food spot in Galt, high quality service as well.

Delicious Mexican food at a good price! Newly remodeled dining area. Very clean.

Yummy food, amazing homemade chips and really good salsa!! Try the crispy chicken tacos…they’re awesome!
