Gitana Cafe

Food: I wanted something yummy. I got the Prosciutto sandwich with vanilla latte. Great combo. I enjoyed it very much.

Service: I love the small touch for them to deliver the food. Not a big place but I appreciate that.

Ambiance. There location is just a few minutes walking distance to the beach. A very quaint location. Super vibey even on a cloudy day. I do like this spot a lot when there's places to sit. And there wasn't much to sit if this place gets busy.

Parking : paid street parking.

I have been several times now. I live in the area. Best espresso in Hermosa/Manhattan area. Today I got the cortado with a savory Danish. It is a neighborhood establishment. In the neighborhood. It is a small local business where you can chat with the barista. Great spot to stop on a bike ride on the strand. You can see the ocean from some of the seating.

My friend told me there is a cute little coffee shop in Hermosa. I decided to stop in after a run last Friday. I ordered one of my personal favorites, a flat white. It was absolutely delicious. The coffee was roasting and dark which I like. I can’t wait to come back with my hubby and dog. The people who worked there were super friendly!

Since I hit the coast of Oregon, and headed south this has been my favorite café so far. Fred is the man! The cinnamon roll was out of this world, and they cardamon latte was 💣

Hermosa Beach is one of my favorite places to visit when I’m in the area and Gitana Cafe is my favorite spot for coffee! Always friendly service with a smile. Fred is a great guy. Excellent customer service.

Tried a beautiful & yummy blueberry iced matcha and my cousin got an oat milk latte. The vibes are super chill, the cafe is right next to beach access, and it’s dog friendly

A fantastic artsy coffee spot with a beautiful patio! The coffee was good, the pastry was GREAT. The staff was super friendly. The neighborhood is really cute too, a fun place to walk a bit.
Coffee is served in paper cups so you can grab and go on your morning adventures, or hit the beach nearby.

Amazing protein shake! Added blueberries and oat milk and best protein shake I have had. Love the vibes too.

Wonderful gem of a coffee shop. You walk in and get transported into a small hometown feel coffee shop with loads to stop and look at. Wonderful coffee, fast service and great sitting areas right here in the neighborhood. Definitely recommend!

A very cute small cafe near the beach. I had an oat milk latte, and my partner had a blueberry lemonade matcha which were yummy! They do have small eats like paninis/sandwiches and pastries, but we didn't have any. The artwork in this small cafe is beautiful! I love supporting a local business.

Such a relaxing, quaint experience at Gitana! We are here in Hermosa Beach for 5 weeks and they will probably see me everyday! Love it here

Love this place!

I think I’ve been to all the cafes in the South Bay. Living in Hermosa, this one is by far my favorite. It’s a unique coffee shop that doesn’t have a modern, clean aesthetic. Instead, it feels vintage and full of personality. It reminds me more of the cafes I visited in South America (the owners, I believe, are Colombian).

It’s got nice outdoor seating that, despite being on Hermosa Ave, is still really nice to sit in and enjoy their delicious ricotta cake, arepa with cheese and their dirty taro latte.

There’s also a cute little couch upstairs to hang out on and enjoy the vives. The coffee is obviously delicious, but so is the chai, which is tough to find around here.

I haven’t tried all the baked goods, but you can be damn sure I will. Also, they’re dog friendly!

Small bèautifül cafe at the sôuth California near to rédondo beach. Great service and beautiful ambiance.

Sleeping in the Las Vegas airport, arms under my face, with punctuated visions of overused power outlets and a looming fear of my roommate's laptop being stolen, I winced the night away. Gitana Cafe is the dream I should have been having. But instead it is my reality, and I am full of rejoicing. I sit in their loft my every cell dancing to the bongos playing over the Bluetooth speaker. I could walk to the beach, but it's hard to walk away. Time to try the dirty horchata latte...are you kidding? Who has ever experienced such a thing! Thank you Fred for an amazing first experience of the day. I will return.

LOVE THIS COFFEE SHOP. Owner and staff is so friendly. Get the dirty horchata. Great location you can walk to beach. I love the Latin feel of this coffee shop, I feel at home !
