The place is great for RC car and plane. He has Gundum, Plastic Millarty, and SciFi, too. Paint, glue, and tools for hobbies builders. Able to get airbrush supplies, too. John and are very helpful. They are always getting new items.

Great shop, been going there since I was a teenager. Knowledgeable staff on any hobby you are into. Prices are great. If parts aren't in stock couple be in by the following week. Also, very large selection of brands in the hobby!

Went here for the first time and purchased 57 Chevy RC car, John explained everything about car and how to properly charge. Service is outstanding and prices are same as internet only here you get personal advice just like the old days. will be a permanent customer. Thanks John.

I remember the 1st time I came here with my grandpa. I was just a lil girl now I'm 48 and love taking my nephew's to experience what I did when I was there age. Brings back memories this place is awesome

This is a genuine old-fashioned hobby shop with a great staff that has gone above and beyond in helping my ten-year-old son build a wooden sailboat with a motor from scratch. They have given him lots of great advice, adjustments, and, most important, encouragement. They have any part, small and large, you can think of. The store is always full of hobbyists sharing tips and stories of their RC adventures. They also have a vast inventory of RC vehicles and kits for sale and really know their stuff. Their prices are competitive with big-box stores and you are supporting a local business. Love this place!

These guys are simply the best. Knowledgeable, will give you modeling tips and even order for you. I told them I really want to get a Tiger tank, they ordered THREE versions to choose from. I bought one but will buy the others soon. Great paint selection and they even have stuff from the 1950's! These guys are great.

This is an old fasion family style business. They will help you with any of your R.C. needs. Whether it be parts, repairs, binding remotes. And so on. They are happy to help you. They squeeze a ton of stuff in a kinda small store. Always have what I need. Probably the best little Hobby Shop in the country and we are lucky enough to have it here in Staten Island.

There is no reason to shop for hobby supplies anywhere else! The folks at Brownies are truly exceptional. I needed an outdated / discontinued part for an Old RC10T. Most hobby shops wouldn't even entertain my request and couldn't get off the phone fast enough. Brownies took the time to help me find the part and took down all my info. After they found the part, they called me right back and took my order over the phone (didn't even push me to the website like the others). It was only a $6.00 part. Since they were so responsive, I ended up ordering more parts while I was on the phone. This was late on a Thursday and everything arrived the following Saturday (in rural New Hampshire!). I will be ordering everything from them, from here on out (especially big ticket items like new RC vehicles). Next time you need something, give these guys a call instead of ordering from the big franchises that won't give you the time of day. Brownies has been around for 50 years; let's keep them going another 50!

You might be able to find stuff online but remember you have to pay for shipping and handling , and your not going to get the personal help your going to get from brownies. It always has that great mom and pop shop feeling .

First time I went here was 3/19/21. Ordered a kyosho mp9e and had left my brand new Gucci wallet on the counter. I received a call nearly 5 min later. Very honest people! And an amazing RC enthusiast shop!!!

I'd meant to visit for years now.. finally did and Brownie's is the REAL DEAL. A real r/c plane/hobby shop like I loved when I was a kid. Super helpful staff, great stock & prices. Also along the ceiling is like 50 years history of r/c aviation, amazing, could be a historical landmark. Buy here instead of online-- it's a destination, worth the trip & vz bridge fare.

This is a fantastic hobby store that is FAMILY OWNED! Very knowledgeable, and patient.they want to help you understand and answer whatever you have questions on. Also you can't beat the prices! You can go in there with confidence knowing you are getting a competitive price. I researched high and low online and couldn't beat the price at this FAMILY OWNED store.

After 18 years I finally decided to break out my old RC cars, and was in need of a pull start for my gas powered RC. I also needed some insight into the newest battery types. I went to Brownies and spoke with John and he took the time to answer all of my questions as well as rummage through his inventory until he found the correct replacement part for my 20 year old car. It's great to see one of the classic shops still operating and you truly feel like you've stepped back in time when you go inside.

I'll definitely be back once my gas RC is up and running!

This may be the last hobby shop around. This is the place you're looking for. Only regret is letting so much time pass between visits. Thank you to John and crew for giving us such a place. In an age of facades this place is the real thing. My hobby shop then and from now on.

I have worked 2 blocks away from this shop for years but never knew it was there, this place is like a museum for new and vintage models. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. And very friendly. The shop is packed with everything you could possibly need. I noticed that a lot of customers came in while I was there but every one of them was greeted and the staff answered each question. I'll definitely be spending more time there

Love this place, small shop has 10,000 sq ft of merchandise in a 100 sq ft store. I support local first, however amazing, and knowledgeable about Everything Hobby. Thank you as lways!
