Houlihan's

My co-workers and I chose Houlihan's in Bayonne for our Friday after work hang out with dinner. It was fantastic!
The food was excellent. Our server was very efficient, professional and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. No loud music so you can actually have a conversation with your friends. This may become our usual spot!

Can’t beat the happy hour! Burger, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, ahi tuna, wings and so much more around 5-10 only. Big portions and delicious food. Burger was cooked perfectly. Mozzarella sticks tasted home made and had so much gooey cheese. Wings were fried perfectly and had great sauce. You can get half Thai and half buffalo if you want.

Lots of drinks on happy hour too, 5 or 7 dollars. They had 2 drink specials and we asked if they were on happy hour and told no by one person yes by the other. The guy who said yes was such a nice bartender, very attentive and clearly new all their promotions. The creamsicle drink and the grande margarita was excellent. Each only $7.

I loved the ambiance too. So cozy and warm inside. Will definitely come here again! Also you can sign up for emails and get $10 off. Prices are so reasonable. And good is very good, place is clean and nice looking and staff are super friendly.

I came back and got the turkey club. Huge, and delicious. Thick good quality turkey, great tasting bacon cooked perfectly. The herb butter gave it great flavor and I paired it with sweet potato fries. Best sweet potato fries I have had, they have sugar on them which provides a crust and a nice touch of sweetness. All for $15. And my husband got the avocado spicy chicken egg rolls and loved them, liked them so much he ordered a second one. Bar tender was also very nice and told us when happy hour was ending so we could get our drinks in. Pretty busy on a Thursday night.

Food was great that we inhaled it! The margaritas we ordered were on point! The service was great and consistent!

Love the mushrooms appetizer here and loaded mash potatoes without bacon.
I had grilled salmon, which tasted great!(this is from 4 years ago).
A few days ago, I had fish and chips where i asked to replace french fries with mashed potatoes. The fried fish was too greesy for me even though the waiter asked to litcehn personell dry the greese as much as possible. It tasted very good, I just can't handle fried food.
Creme Brulée was great.
Highly recommended.

This is in such a convenient spot near a great shopping center, my family's home, and the waterfront! I popped in for a quick bite and cocktails and CJ was so quick and friendly to attend to me. He treated me like a regular that he loves and that warmed my heart! I had the tuna which was phenomenal and a Moscow mule which was even better. The tab was very nice as well and I cannot wait to be back in town to see CJ’s smiling face.

Update: Came back again on another vacation and Tammy and Shannan served me today! Wow very friendly and knowledgeable. They created fantastic martinis and were so attentive. I love this restaurant. I had a great chicken salad and sat and enjoyed chatting with the staff. I cannot wait to come back and try the Pink Elephant Martini again!!

The food is good but never order through Google. They say no service fee when ordering on line but they doubled the price of the item to make up for the service fee. It was on the bill when I got the receipt.

I came here for the first time today for lunch. I got my selections from the All Day Fix Menu that only cost $19.99. For that price you get a first course, a second course and a dessert. Everything was great and the service I received was top notched. My waiter was so nice, friendly and attentive. The overall appearance of the restaurant was clean and they made sure everyone is safely distanced at each table. I will definitely go back!

I joined my girlfriends at houlihans for a friendsmas dinner. This was the 1st time I've been to houlihans in years. I can say that the service, food and drinks still remain very good. We enjoyed ourselves.

I recently dined at Houlihan’s and had an outstanding experience. The ambiance was inviting, the service impeccable, and the menu offered a delightful variety. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend Houlihan’s for anyone seeking a great dining experience.

Wonderful food. Great atmosphere. Only some tables have a redish ambiance which doesn’t work in the favor of pictures or the look of the food. Otherwise great clean place to take your whole family

This was by far the best dining experience I’ve ever had a Houlihan’s. The bartenders were fast and attentive and the general manager mike came by to spark up conversation and I really appreciated it! 10/10 would recommend and am definitely coming back.

Chipotle chicken pasta is so delicious. I highly recommend you won’t regret.
And buffalo blue salad with grilled chicken amazing

One of the few Houlihan's left in NJ, service and food was good. Meatloaf and Stuffed Chicken Breast.

I've lived in Bayonne for about 4 years and My family and I decided to give them a try. And we were NOT disappointed. The spicy egg rolls and fancy fried cheese were delicious. I got the lemon chicken with fettuccine and it was really good. Daughter got the chicken tenders and they were really good as well, they actually had flavor. Hubby got the turkey club sandwich and he was satisfied with his meal. Our waiter was was great. Didn't linger too long, but was still very attentive to us. I also got the creme brulee, loved it. We got the browniw dessert to go. Daughter devoured that at home. I also got the 1 tiki-la 2 tiki-la and it will be my go to whenever we go. Definitely recommend

CJ was one of the best servers I've ever had at any restaurant I've ever been to (and I've been to a LOT). He was nice, kind, welcoming, attentive, friendly and down to earth. We had an issue with sour cream that went bad and it was immediately rectified without incident. Ask for him when you go, and tip accordingly!

Such great service and the food was super delicious! 10/10 would recommend again and again

This is THE BEST restaurant I've tried since being in NJ. Being from Texas, it's hard to find a good restaurant that can compare to food back home. They give you more than enough. This is my new favorite restaurant. The stuffed mushroom are my favorite and they are huge. Everything I've tried at this restaurant are beyond amazing (wings, stuffed potato skins, cheesecake, mushroom and Meatloaf No. 9)

+ It was my first time there, I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Pasta and the Kamikaze Brownie with a Dr. Pepper.

Server: Martina was very informative and helpful.

1. The Dr. Pepper was good it was not watered down.
2. The Pasta tasted so good and I'm not even exaggerating.
3. The last touch was that Kamikaze Brownie which sealed the deal. 👌🏿

Yummy!!! Great appetizer, fresh from the kitchen and affordable prices for happy hour. Gotta try the calamari and nachos were delicious, too.

Made reservations for 2 (just to ensure that we wouldn't have to wait). Idk why I initially thought the Bayonne location had closed down, but they're open. We were seated immediately. COVID protocols are in place. Our server, Kyle was professional and attentive. We started with drinks: Whiskey Sour for her and a Gin and Tonic for me (meh). Save your money, stick to wine or beer. For an appetizer we ordered the Wings and Things sampler which was pretty tasty. For entrees, we ordered the Hickory Smoked Baby Back BBQ Ribs, for her, and the Sedona Shrimp Pasta (has a lil kick of spice) for me. Both entrees arrived hot and were tasty. We'll be going more often, now that I know the Bayonne location is still open.
