He promptly responded to my inquiries, showed me the option I was interested in and other options that may fit my needs, but did not push anything on me. He has lots of product on hand and was able to set me up with shorter forks, a matching charger and was even able to have it delivered same day! Forklifts of Portland came up when I did a google search. And with so many positive reviews it was the first place I called. Chris answered the phone and was very polite and professional. After hearing what I was looking for he suggested a couple forklift options that he had in stock and offered to send some photos. Without even visiting his yard I selected a forklift from his photos, the price was very fair and he delivered it the next morning. The forklift was even better than he described. In less than 24 hours from the time I called them, we had a fair price, fast delivery and a forklift at our shop. It's been a long time since I've had customer service this great! Forklifts of Portland is very honest and easy to do business with. Chris will be the first person I will call again for any of my forklift needs.

After many phone calls and searching all over Portland and other nearby cities I found absolutely the best Hyster forklift from Chris at Forklifts of Portland. His prices were much better than the competition and he made some changes for me that I requested without hesitation . He delivered promptly the very next morning and I couldn’t be more pleased. Very professional and great communication and customer service. I highly recommend this company. I’d give him a ten out of ten, he checked all the boxes!

Today I went to Forklifts of Portland and looked at a couple of forklifts. My budget was so little I could only afford a forklift that they were about to salvage. I was about to spend my last dollar on this inop forklift but instead Chris advised me on a better forklift for the same money for sale by someone else. He could’ve easily taken my money and I wouldn’t have known any different but instead I was given some good information on a forklift that he had nothing to do with. He didn’t know me but took extra time to make sure I spent my money wisely without worrying about a sale for himself. When I can afford a good forklift I will come back.

Chris at Forklifts of Portland was great. He was responsive, honest, met me over the weekend and gave me good feedback on how to maximize the value on my forklift that I needed to sell. The forklift that I bought from Chris is a low hours Toyota and is in great condition and feel like I got a great deal. It’s so refreshing to do business with someone that has this kind of attitude and work ethic.

I am the sort of cheapskate that wastes a lot of time searching for deals on Craigslist. Weeding through the scams and countess wasted hours driving to look at worn out equipment. I get anxious going into proper dealerships. Forklifts of Portland has changed my attitude. I will only go there moving forward. I went to buy one and left with two nice forklifts. Their ability to buy well and pass that value on to the customer is clearly evident. Chris was a pleasure to deal with and set up a seamless transaction where I left feeling like I had a new friend and two well bought assets to my business.

Well, we arrived at Forklifts of Portland with the intention of purchasing 1 piece of equipment, but we left Fotklifts of Portland with 2 very nice machines.

Their customer service was great and their machines are well kept. They obviously care about their business and the products they sell.

I spent hrs searching for forklifts on-line and kept running into services that charge for searching for possible Lift Truck matches around the country. I really need to see, touch and feel how a used Lift Truck looks, feels, and drives. Chris was upfront and knowledgeable about the condition of the inventory he had which made me feel confident I could trust him. I purchased a Mitsubishi on my first visit.
