Unlike my experience with Horizon Hobby, Hobby Town has been great! Leon has been very helpful. Not just with my purchases, but he has given very good advice and he took care of my local club membership. The prices aren't any higher than ordering on line so I will patronize the store in person for all needs

Randomly dropped in here because I was on this side of town, and I was really impressed with their large inventory.

Nice selection of Gunpla at a fair price, and a little big of everything in the nerd hobby space.

Very dangerous place for a 55-year-old grandfather reliving his 5th or 6th childhood (in excuse for his grandson) but seriously they have a great selection of Gundam models including Master Grade and Some Perfect Grade which Is what I am looking for. And have the tools, supplies and paints to make your nest masterpiece.

I'm not sure what's up with the previous reviews. Who knows, maybe this location has changed? But this is by far the best HobbyTown I've been to. I recently got back into RC trucks and the staff at this place was EXTREMELY helpful and answered all my questions. Best part is, they didn't make me feel like an idiot for asking (what I'm assuming to them) completely obvious questions. Instead of being money hungry, they actually talked me into a less expensive model that saved me money in the long run. I was going to go with a brushless Traxxas for about $600 and I was talked into the brushed ARRMA. It has everything I could ask for and more. And when I showed up 24 hours later looking for another battery and better charger, he showed me a huge selection but ultimately asked what I needed now and what I was looking for in the future and I settled on a Prodigy 610EZ for again, less money than anticipated. These guys here are INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and are in it for the hobby, not the price tag. This location just gained a lifelong customer. Keep in mind too, I pass 3 other hobby stores on my way to this one. They're great!

The customer service is exceptional, my hats go off to Jarred for his work ethic and great personality. I have been in this store many time in the last 30 days and Jarred has gone above and beyond the call of duty to get my RC’s up n running. I don’t live close in fact I have a hobby town in Waco I could go to but because of Jarred I drive the extra hour to shop at this location.

Love this place! This has been our go-to place for models, Gundam and fun gifts. Staff is always helpful when I ask for help, but also lets me just wander the store until I decide I need help :)

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They also have a pretty decent inventory.

Another great store for everything you need for your Rc car 🚘, or if your wanting to by an Rc airplane ✈ and Rc boats🚤, and much more. Excellent customer service and so much to see!! I highly recommend visiting this store.

Great hobby shop, the staff is knowledgeable as well as helpful. The store has everything from models to boats to planes you name it they probably have it.

This place has something for EVERYBODY.. From 1 to 100 years old.. Its awesome and if they don't have in stock what your looking for, They can and will get it for you.. The place is clean and organized. If you visit this place make sure you have time to dilly dally... Because before you know it you've been there a couple hours haha. The staff has GREAT customer service skills! Especially AMY.. Thank you Amy!! Also is very educated on the products they sell here. Nice job you guys!

Edit: Over the last 6+ months the DFW Hobbytown stores have made alot of changes. They have increased stock tremendously, they have made several Staff changes and now have several very helpful people who love RC's and love what they do. They have made instore prices more closely match online prices and will automatically price match. Great job DFW area hobbytowns.
(No longer applies - I only go hear when I need a part in a hurry because it's the only option. If you go here always check the price online because they raise all the in store prices. If you show them the online price they will reluctantly match it. This goes for most if not all the DFW area HobbyTown locations.)

Loved coming here! My little boy is a huge fan of anything boy related and adored going throughout the store ooo'ing and ahh'ing over nearly everything! We are very crafty so the model cars really drew me in even more! Prices are a tad on the higher side but still extremely worth every penny! Will be back to get some model cars soon, FOR SURE!!

Outstanding selection of models from beginners to advanced plus all the supplies you need to complete the project. So, if you are into giant model WWII battleships , electric model airplanes, or the latest gamer models, this is the place to go! They have great staff that will help you find what you want, and they might even stay open
late if you're still looking!

Very enjoyable place to go no matter what you’re into. From RC cars and plane to miniatures and all the craft supplies. The owner is a genuinely good guy too.

Very helpful employees. Gave advice on batteries and parts needed to get me fixed up.

1st time visiting this store a few days after Christmas everyone was super nice and helped out. Customer service 100%

Hobby Town in Hurst was awesome. Had exactly the light kit I was looking for for my TRX4. Great staff and very knowledgeable, as they went the extra mile to moke sure I got the right part. Great customer support!!!

Great store, Good selection of items. They run some amazing sales. I did have a few issues but they fixed things fast and without issues.

Friendly helpful staff and well stocked, up to date Gundam model selection.
