My wedding invites have wax seals on the back, which meant the postage had to be hand cancelled (rather than run through the machine). I know this, because I do my research, but I digress.

I originally took my invites to the post office in Kennesaw on Barrett Pkwy, where the lady at the front said she couldn't hand cancel them (I had 16 envelopes, so hardly a big deal). I could tell she was just being lazy, so I took them to the Acworth Post Office instead. I've always had a pleasant experience there.

I don't have the lady's name, but she has short red hair and glasses. She was extremely kind and helpful, got me the exact postage for every envelope, and hand cancelled each for me. I don't normally take the time to review post offices, but I truly appreciate her willingness to help me, as wedding planning is stressful enough.

If you want actual customer service at the post office, I highly recommend the one in Acworth on Main Street.

The lady running the counter this morning around 9 was very quick, efficient, and polite. She made my mail run a pleasant errand

Went to get the passport done, (got the old one when I was younger than 16) I just took the application filled in and the old passport, appt is REQUIRED. Scheduled time was from 9:30 to 10:00, we got out in time!
Dawn was my clerk, she took our photos, made copies of id’s and was very helpful and nice during the process. A pleasant experience for someone who gets anxious during paper work.🌟🌸🌟🌸🌟

I mistakenly had a FedEx prepaid labeled package dropped off at my Local Acworth Ga post office. I was concerned it would be lost due to my mistake. Fortunately and greatly appreciated, it was returned to me in my mailbox..Thank you.

Me and my partner just applied for passports here and it was very pleasant. The clerk, Dawn, was absolutely lovely and helpful. We showed up with everything we needed and she was very helpful with the process. You can get your passport photo here, for a small fee.

The staff here are much more friendly than other post offices I've gone to. The wait usually isn't too bad and the employees are helpful.

Always have a good experience when I come here. Usually there’s less if a wait than the Kennesaw post office.
