I had been eagerly awaiting a letter that I was expecting, but after several days had passed, it had still not arrived. Concerned about its whereabouts, I contacted USPS customer service to inquire about the delay. That's when I was fortunate enough to connect with Trent Schladand.

I had a horrible time trying to get passports at the J-town location, so ended up going to this location. Hikes Point staff is awesome! YOU ALL ROCK!!!!! The woman who helped me was very thorough, and actually went through my application and documentation carefully to ensure the rest of the process will go smoothly and accurately. I watched her complete every step right there in front of me. She put my mind at ease that I was in good hands with her and she clearly knew her job well, unlike the staff I dealt with in J-town, who kept saying "I guess" to every question I asked, and then his manager gave me flat-out incorrect information about the requirements for 16-year-old passport, and tried to argue with me about it, even though the correct requirements are on the state dept website. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Hikes Point location!!!!!!

This is the BEST post office I've ever had an experience with. Every time I come in, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Shervon specifically is always so kind and welcoming. Give that woman a raise!

Please read to the end. It's worth it. So, the last week has been brutal. My project management software that helps me juggle 50 bazillion things crashed, leaving me no access to all my timesheets, client and account notes, months worth of research links, all work on film projects, a lot of contacts, etc, then my hard drive dies and I lose a day of work,. I back in to someone while gathering items for work, did a long shoot with 3 hours sleep, juggled parenting, A contractor I outsourced something to had errors in work and decided to be difficult by hurtling personal insults and cussing at me when I ask for errors to be corrected, triggering my ptsd, and then sends me an invoice with two additional hours, costing me more money for his errors, but I maintain my cool through it all and set off today to mail paychecks including his added cost and drop my phone and shatter it, causing me to have to replace it. I am particularly for one Mr. William at the Hunsinger Lane Point Post Office who went out of his way to brighten my day when I arrived feeling pretty beat down. I approached the counter and politely said, "I'd like to mail each of these certified please." I waited patiently while he went through the process of labeling each and then setting a certified slip down on the counter. "Here ya go!" he said as he weighed the paycheck to the mentioned contractor. I thought it was handing me the certified slip. Instead he plunked down a post it note with a smiley on the counter and said "That's just for you." God bless you, William. This isn't the first time I've seen him there, and he's always a shining beacon. I wanted to shower him with kisses and it makes me do all my mailing there despite living 20 minutes away. It would be so awesome if anyone going to that post office or in the neighborhood would pop in and leave a post it on the internal door with a smiley face on it that says "For William." I'd love to see him flooded with them. <3 <3 <3 <3

Everyone working here is extremely friendly and would help you with anything you need! They are full of patience which nowadays is rare for a post office. This is the only usps I would go to in town. Totally recommended!
