Everyone was super inviting and respectful here. I like hostel environments because it's not overly luxurious and people interact in the shared spaces. This place had what we needed, breakfast, bed, showers, bathrooms, and even a mini fridge to store some food. I was very pleased and had a great stay here with my fiance while we explored the grand canyon and the surrounding areas! This was also far cheaper and convenient to stay at than it would have been to stay closer to the Grand Canyon.

Great hostel. The atmosphere is good and the staff are all helpful and sociable as well. I had to wait to be able to shower sometimes but I can overlook that. The hostel is located right next to the train station which is good if you're travelling by train, but might cause some noise issues otherwise. It's also pretty close to the Grand Canyon and even if you don't have a car you can use the shuttle service by Arizona Shuttle.

We enjoyed our stay, and it was just what we were looking for. It's close to downtown, and we were able to hang out with other travellers. If you want pure solitude, this is not your place. If you want a low priced place to stay and maybe chat with others, this is your place. Staff were very nice.

Nice hostel in a lovely building. We booked a room for ourselves which was small but fine. Very friendly staff and a thank you for the man who helped us figure out how to lock our rental car. If you want to meet nice people, this is the place for you.

I've stayed here three times over the past 6 years and it is consistently very clean, with friendly staff, and is far more charming and convenient than any hotel. The location can't be beat. Whether you need quiet or want to socialize, you'll find what you need. Thanks for all the great stays GCIH! I'll be back.

Great environment! Friendly staff, well upkept place, cozy and conducive for socializing, nice kitchen space. Would recommend getting private room > dorm as noise was an issue for us in the hallway but still enjoyed my stay here and likely will be back!

Great location host and rooms. Steps to popular downtown Flagstaff , across the street from 3 of our favorite food hang places. Affordable clean accommodation. Why pay double staying at a hotel. This is the way to go for a couple.

The location is amazing. They are very close to downtown. All my favorite places are within walking distance: Macys (coffee), Charlies (bar), Vino Loco (bar), and Nimarcos (pizza). You won't need a car to get around downtown Flagstaff.

The staff is always super friendly, knowledgable, and really goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.

We always get a private roon and love the set up: queen bed, desk and chair, sink, and private fridge. Although the bathrooms are community we have NEVER had an issue. The guests alwas seem to be just as friendly and considerate as the staff.

The continental breakfast is always wonderful: oatmeal, toast with jam and butter, and assorted fresh fruit. Even better is eating your breakfast in the down stairs dining roon with everyone. You always run into the most interesting people. :)

Great people, clean rooms, and knowledgeable staff. Also a great location for anyone wanting to explore the city on foot. Very close to a wide variety of restaurants and bars. Not much more to ask for, especially when traveling alone.

Nice place, friendly staff. Some noise from guests sitting outside late could be heard from my room but the bed was comfortable and I was tired enough to sleep through it. Would stay again.

I actually stayed at this hostel a couple of years ago......I wasn't a Tripadvisor member then....Now I am, so I'm writing this Review to help you in your Travel Decisions.

I arrived in Flagstaff,AZ by Greyhound Bus. At the Station I saw an Ad stating I could get a Bed for under $20 a night. I thought this was a great deal. I was right!

I called the Hostel from the station to see if they had rooms availible......they did. The Guy on the phone actually sounded friendly & said he could come pick me up from the station for FREE! How cool is that!

When he pulled up I was TOTALLY IMPRESSED! An Old-School Classic Historic Car painted PINK!!! They get a Huge "10" for this nice touch!

When we arrived at the Hostel...which is located Downtown....I mean DOWNTOWN! Directly across the street was a Club or something pumping out Music from Huge Subwoofers! Welcome to the Party!

The Front Desk Attendant was VERY HIP & SPICY! She was young and had Many Body Piercings in MANY Places. When I asked her about places to eat in the area, she recommended NiMarco's Pizza around the corner...A Great Find!!!

The Room I stayed in was VERY SNUG meaning you were in close contact to other Travelers BUT then again, if that's your "thing" or goal, this is YOUR PLACE! I believe it was 2 bunkbeds to a room. They had a Fridge in the room also.....I guess to bring Snacks or Leftover Drinks to save for late night. You don't need this added option because your Basically Surronded by Restuarants!

Being a Young Budget Solo Traveler, I didn't want to be carrying around alot of change money i.e. Quarters,Dimes etc. So I decided to put these under my mattress.....Wrong Decision. When I checked later ALL my change was gone! So this nice young girl said she "cleaned" our room.....She did a GOOD job!

Their 3 Night Maximum Policy didn't fit well into my travel plans either. I guess they wanted everyone to get a chance to enjoy the place......if it was unlimited nights they would be stuck with the same crowd since NONE would leave! They did offer me a bed at their other hostel around the corner which had unlimited stay.

The FREE BREAKFAST was real good and a nice variety. They have a kitchen upstairs as well as on the ground floor which is really nice for preparing your own meals if your really trying to strech the dollar.

All things considered this is a Great Hostel to crash at after visiting the Grand Canyon & Sedona! They offer Tours to both of these wonderful places!

Check out this Hostel on the web and make it your destination whenever your visiting Northern Arizona!

I felt very comfortable here. The staff is nice and it's fun to meet other guests from all over. Communal breakfast in the morning is an awesome idea. I'll be back for sure!

Loved the customer service, location and comfort. I do wish there were more parking options however, I completely understand that it may not be possible due to the location. I appreciate the availability and all that thus wonderful location has to offer. It was a blessing to find and stay here. I wish there were more! 😊

Excellent Hostel - Knowledgeable, outgoing and friendly staff - Super Clean - Gorgeous bulding from early 1900's, lots of charm and extra special touches for guests. Must visit! In heart of the culture of Downtown Flagstaff!

Bathroom and room were clean and neat!

I hope all my future hostel stay will be like this. :)

Highly recommend!!

One of the better hostels I have stayed at. Friendly staff, clean room, cozy ambiance; it seems to attract the sweetest people from all over.

Clean sand friendly staff. Two things you should know: the hostel is not air conditioned, and it is near a pretty active railroad track. Neither of those are show stoppers for me though, I would stay again next time I'm in Flagstaff.
