I stopped in on a whim and so glad I did
Hand made in store these candies are delicious. I bought the Almond brittle with dark chocolate, had to put the candy away to keep from eating the entire bag in one sitting.

I was looking for a gift for my friend for her birthday and I came across Newberry Candy's website. While looking, I came across a Mickey candy apple. My friend loves Disney, so I thought it'd be the perfect gift. I called the next morning to see if they had any available. The woman I talked to said no, but she could make one for me. I said that would be great and she asked me what I'd like in terms color, if I wanted a Minnie or a Mickey, etc. I asked if I could do a pink Minnie and red Mickey, and she said yes. She asked what time I'd like them ready and I said around 4 pm. Later that day, I went down to pick them up and they were just being finished. They turned out so cute and the woman I spoke with was so nice and told me they make other Disney characters too.

While I was there, I also got a couple chocolate covered mint oreos, which were delicious!

Overall, really great service, good candy, very cute store. I recommend!

Love this place and stop by whenever we're in town and have some time. Quaint Mom and Pop shop in an unassuming little strip mall on Thousand Oaks Blvd but everything is made fresh on-site by a dedicated team, like homemade fudge. My fiance adores their candied and caramel apples and he's like a kid in a candy store that enjoys picking out the ones he wants from the shelf. Amazing quality. They don't skimp on the details either.

My family stopped by this past weekend after we heard they had homemade peanut brittle and toffee. I can say that both of those items are the best I've ever had. We also smelled the delicious caramel corn as we entered the shop and bought a bag to try. We ate the popcorn on the drive home( should of gotten 2) This is the best candy shop in town and the owner was so nice and helpful. Definitely getting all of my candy buisness.

This place is super cute and has an amazing selection of goodies made on the premises! The owner helped me put together a goody box of treats and shared the story of how his store came to be. These are all his mom's recipes. There really is something for everyone and if you don't see exactly what you're looking for ask, because its probably just cooling off for wrapping. The homemade marshmallows and chocolate caramels are melt in your mouth!

I've had the privilege of attending a lot of Conejo Chamber of Commerce events and they have frequently had Newberry Candy as a vendor present. Every time I have tried one of the treats they have been DIVINE.

I even tried one of their chocolate dipped orange rinds at one of the events AND IT WAS GOOD, never had that before.

Anyway, I checked LinkedIn and it turned out they were having a grand reopening because apparently someone smashed through their door with a car. Wild. So I went to the store, bought 2 caramel apples (Oreo and apple pie), fudge, and a chocolate covered graham cracker for my sweetheart.

I had the full intention of just eating part of the Oreo caramel apple. I ended up eating the whole damn thing in one go, it was so good.

Long story short - go to this place it's freaking delicious.

I have visited this shop 3 times since they opened and everything I've tried/bought has been delicious. The fudge with walnuts is better than what my mom used to make - she agrees! The toffee is buttery, and a real deal at $12.00 for close to a pound (even though the package says 12 oz.). I went back for Easter to see what they had and ended up buying the solid milk chocolate bunnies... Excellent! All who ate them loved them! I also bought one of the apples... I cannot come up with any other adjective to describe it other than delicious and excellent! Nice people, too!

I ❤ Chocolates and yesterday I discovered Newberry Candy and felt like a kid again on Christmas Day. A sweet mom and pop store that creates fine gourmet chocolates & treats that are out of this world.
Everything I tried was amazing but the dark chocolate fudge with walnuts is without question the best I ever had. I also tried the delicious sugarless chocolates and it's fantastic.
If you are looking for amazing gourmet chocolates for the holidays, special occasions, weddings, there is no other place to go. I really appreciate the friendly customer service and I'm telling everyone I know and yes "I Will Be Back".

Newberry Candy may very will be Thousand Oaks' fountain of youth. Anyone who walks in there becomes a kid again. The assortment of chocolate anything is unbelievable. Good luck deciding what to take home. Don't worry... you can't go wrong with anything they make... it's all delicious!

If you are in Thousand Oaks you need to stop in here. The candy is addictive, it is so good. The atmosphere is nice and the people really friendly. It always smells of chocolate, even through my mask!

I was sending my Mom Carmel apples with all the trimmings from Amazon. I found if it’s not a major holiday it seemed to have delivery dates far later than ordered. I accidentally came upon Newberry candy and I was absolutely delighted. The caramel apples, again with all the trimmings (and far more) are fabulously fresh, much larger than expected & my Mom loved them.
Of course I had to do my version of a yelp review and asked her which she preferred better. Hands-down she said Newberry’s were superior in so many ways in particular the choclate toppings are much softer the Apples are fresher & much larger & the best part the Carmel was soft & delectable. That’s from 84 yr old Tobie ♥.
So while I am perusing there entire inventory while placing my 2nd order, I decided I must try the fudge. OMG..... I haven’t had fudge since my last trip to Disneyland. It was so delicious I had to try all the different flavors which I believe were fudge, fudge with nuts, pumpkin & surprisingly enough I tried the white chocolate normally not a huge fan and it was to die for 👌. I’m now prepping the care package for my son in college. Another visit and yet again they are so friendly and helpful and it warms my heart there a local company here in our area Thousand Oaks. I recommend all must try Newbury Candy & seriously coincider your incoming holiday gifts exchanged. Another thing I’m considering is my small corporate gifts for my business associates and clients this year. Enjoy All! 🦋

Saw the sign driving by, and decided to stop in. We (kids and I) were offered a sample of the toffee and it was so good. But decided on fudge. Enjoying it with the family and I am telling you I am still thinking of the toffee. Now I have to go back!

John makes delicious candies, truly “like how grandma used to make”. In this case, grandma was actually his mom who used to make these candies herself. The pecan pralines are the best!

I stopped in this shop and had a great time talking with the owner! Bought some toffee to bring home and it is now THE toffee of our household! Make sure to stop by and pick up some toffee and you will be hooked!

Love going here with my aunt Dee! John has the best personality and his shop is immaculate! Try the chocolate dipped chips and the peanut butter sandwich!!

Basically a blast from the past. If you remember the sweets your mom or Grandma made, them you will love this shop. I had the English toffee, and also same the fudge.

Fun store. Lots of great, Interesting candy. Bought for a friend's birthday. Owner is fun to talk to.
