Savvy Pet Supply

This is hands down the best pet store in Lexington. They have excellent quality food and treats for all pets, and they work with me to special order my dogs’ food from a company that no one else in the state carries. Highly highly recommend supporting this local business, they are amazing!!

A cute store with a wide selection of pet supplies for dogs, cats and small critters. This is a great stop for pet owners looking for food, treats, toys, pet grooming products, cleaning products, and other necessities. They also have baked treats for your furry friends.

Friendly environment and easy to navigate supplies. They have a lot of healthy brands at an affordable price and a wide variety of fresh treats. The staff were super helpful by answering questions and giving suggestions, and you can tell they are passionate about pets! We're in love with the Fluff and Tuff toys ❤

Easy five stars! Savannah has a long history of working in the pet industry in Lexington and has established herself as a knowledgeable and caring individual when it comes to pets and their health. Employees are helpful and they have everything that my cats, dog, and rabbit need! Great frequent buyer program. Community events are frequent and well run. I don’t believe in dog parks and Savvy Pet Supply hosts events where leashed dogs can interact with other leashed dogs and responsible pet owners. The best of all worlds!

I posted a five star review before, but I wanted to elaborate on my rating after my wonderful delivery order.

I placed a delivery order for two bags of kibble, and they did a great job communicating expected delivery date and time. I love to support local organizations, so I’m planning on buying all my dog food from them! With free delivery to anywhere in Lexington, awesome customer service, a great loyalty program, cheap prices (even cheaper than Chewy!), and a wide selection, it’s hard to find anywhere better in Lexington to shop at for my dogs’ needs. I was sad to see Bluegrass Barkery go, but Savvy Pet Supply successfully filled some pretty big shoes!

This place has everything a pet owner could possibly need, from enrichment to dietary needs to toys! We were recommended silver vine instead of catnip for our cat and she loves it. They have great options for dry and wet food, lots of toys, and a spot for small animals too! The owners are awesome and we couldn't recommend this place more!

Was sad to see the Bluegrass Barkery closed, I always loved to go to get treats for my dog. Recently went to Savvy Pet which is in the same location on Tiverton the Barkery was. It was just as great as the Barkery, if you didn't know any better it's practically identical in every wonderful way. Great selection to choose from and very friendly staff. I definitely will make Savvy Pet my new place to go for treats for my dog.

This is the only place I get my dog and cat food from. Their staff is really knowledgeable. They helped me find food for my dog's skin allergies.

This is the only place in Lexington I can find my raw dog food I’ve been purchasing for years. The employees are very nice but I really wish they had someone to cover their breaks. This is the 4th time I’ve shown up and the door is locked until x time.
