A great experience to receive a recommendation from the eatery across the street from The Office. Our visit in Irvington to spend time with a relative in a health care facility we were in search for special take out meals each day. The Office staff was so helpful in packing up our order with plenty of everything needed to make our dinner complete. We & our sister were "over the moon" with the triple-play ribs and two salad selections. Must try the Corn bread croutons: Whoa, so yummy! The ribs did fall off the bones. The hot food stayed hot in containers. The salads did not wilt. Lots of napkins, plates and more. Well done all. Thank you so very much everyone at The Office for making a lovely take-out dinner for us.
It is nice that the owners kept some of the dental office decor. Check out the bathroom wallpaper.
See you soon.
Highly recommend this restaurant.
Reservation recommended.

This was an amazing experience. Everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend the crab dip! The server was very kind and helpful. The environment was very relaxed at lunch time on a Friday. We all really enjoyed our time and would certainly recommend and return.

We are there twice for dinner. Both experiences were delightful. Excellent service. Extraordinary and interesting food. Worth a trip and definitely a place we return to visit the next time we are in Irvington.

My wife said the shrimp and grits were the best she has ever eaten. I enjoyed the orange and pomegranate glazed salmon. Desserts for both were delicious and decadent.

The Office is a charming and inviting place to dine. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal of fillet mignon and lobster ravioli with and appetizer of blood orange scallops and a chocolate chip cookie sundae for dessert.

The service was some of the best I've experienced. The server was polite, funny and engaging. She was the perfect mix of personality and professionalism.

The food was prepared exceptionally well and, per my wife, her fillet was cooked to perfection. The homemade pasta was delicious and perfectly cooked and I thoroughly enjoyed the kale as a side. I like well prepared scallops and these were definitely well prepared. I highly recommend them. The sundae was good though not exceptional.

The restaurant itself was well appointed and comfortable. The only complaint we had, and this is a small thing, was that the noise level became difficult as the restaurant filled up. Unfortunately, I believe this is simply the result of the building itself and beyond their control.

This was our first visit but we will be returning to try some of the other menu items. I am especially excited to try the ribs as they looked and smelled wonderful. My only suggestions are that you go hungry and most definitely make a reservation.

Unusual decor for a restaurant, you are greeted by two toothbrush columns as you enter. Apparently the Office was a dentist’s office prior to becoming a restaurant and the owner decided to keep some of the motif.

Anyway, have visited several times and their food and service is consistently excellent. You can tell they take great pride and care in what they serve. It’s a very popular restaurant and reservations are required. I have had to book a few days out on occasion and Summers are particularly busy during tourist season.

They offer a wide variety of options and when you are just getting sick of fresh seafood that the area frequently offers, they serve up terrific steaks. The bar is well stocked and they can make anything you can think up. While the menu has lots to offer, I almost always end up ordering one of their specials which adds to the variety. It’s a little pricy but worth saving up for to visit.

Not only was the food delicious, they accomodate requests (pow pow shrimp on top of a salad). Our waitress was so much fun and absolutely the best waitress and the manager always stops by to see how everybody's doing and he is always visible. Definitely our favorite restaurant in the area.

We’ve been visiting different VA towns during our Xmas vacation. This is one of those Gems that no matter where you live, you need to visit Kelmarnick and the Office Restaurant. Named from the dentist office that occupied this space before, it’s atmosphere is bright and the staff is as friendly as it gets. I love a small distinct menu that concentrates on making what they have great. A diverse wine menu, and beer list. Make sure you make a reservation, they are very busy, but not too busy to treat you like family. We will be back a lot, you’ll love the town as well.

There are no negative things to report from our experience here. A group of 5 of us had lunch with reservations on a Friday at noon. We were greeted promptly by a very friendly server where drinks and apps came out as soon as they were ordered. Their list of mocktails was so appreciated by some of our party, and all drinks were refreshing. We got the bacon and fig flatbread (chef's kiss), pow pow shrimp (enough for a small meal and excellent spice level), and the Brussels for appetizers. A few of us got the Cobb salad for an entree and it was seriously one of the best salads I've ever ordered for the price! Juicy chicken, crispy cornbread, rightfully dressed. A few others ordered the pecan gorgonzola salad and had no qualms. The shrimp and grits were bountiful with shrimp, sausage, and flavor. Overall, fantastic experience and highly recommend!

The Office is one of several newer additions to the growing and popular quaint, yet upscale, village of Irvington ...where walking about the town while shopping then eating is a must when enjoying the Northern Neck .

My third visit to The Office I tried the recommended artichoke flatbread, which was indeed tasty. I've enjoyed the Thai chicken salad too, that dish is more filling, and I hear the shrimp basket is a local fav too. All dishes seem well prepared, and flavorful from what I've tried, and I'm anxious to try more from the menu.
The staff is friendly and attentive, the side room offers fresh air dining (weather permitting) and the entire restaurant is bright and clean.
Each of the eateries in town has it's own distinctive menu and vibe so trying more than one can be great fun after a day of shopping the unique boutiques of Irvington.
I'd say try it with friends or family, make it a must on your calendar!

From the moment we walked in, you could tell this place was special. The food was amazing! We had a hard time choosing. There were some excellent seafood options as well as meat and unbelievable white garlic pizza! The portions were generous. The prices were reasonable. (even the wine was affordable) The Staff was friendly and attentive. I believe it was the Owners who stopped twice to see if everything was ok. We appreciated that! Highly recommend.

Two friends and myself ate here for lunch yesterday. It was the first time for all of us. We were all very happy with our food. I had the Fiery Shrimp and Pineapple Flatbread, one friend had the Cobb Salad and the other had a Pear Salad. Our server was wonderful and attentive as well as upbeat. It did get a bit loud in the restaurant once they filled up, but not unbearable. All of us were very happy with our experience at The Office and are looking forward to return visit.

Had an excellent meal at the Office last week. Wife had the fried Shrimp and I had the Ahi Tuna. She had plenty of Shrimp and commented on how good the fries were. My Tuna came on a bed of "Forbidden" rice on a sizzling platter. Just plain GREAT. Had a drizzle of horseradish dressing on it to top it off.
Service was excellent, as per usual.

Had a really great lunch here. It was very busy in the restaurant, but the waitstaff kept up with the crowd and were very attentive. My wife had the chicken sandwich which she said was great. I had the Cobb salad which was great. My son had the chicken tenders platter. Let me tell you, 1/2 pound of chicken is a lot on the plate. He couldn't finish his lunch, had to take it home. Overall great little local restaurant, good atmosphere and great staff. I would definitely visit them again.

I started with the Pow Pow shrimp which was delicious. Then I got The Southern Gentleman which is a chicken strip sandwich with coleslaw and BBQ sauce. Everything is just amazing fresh and flavorful. Thanks for a great experience.
