Harts landing fish pier

Harts landing fishing pier is a great place to fish, or just relax and enjoy the view. They have a shop that sells bait, snacks, and drinks, and I believe you can rent fishing poles and kayaks. There are public restrooms available. There is a playground nearby, and you can walk the Ringling bridge for exercise. The view of the bay is gorgeous.

Early morning run and you will be rewarded with a stunning sunrise. The sea is calm, no breeze to be expected just the humid hot air that makes that low bridge seem like a steep incline. It’s not, it’s a fun run but you might lose your pace if you don’t concentrate and put the effort into it.

Had a great time, bunch of nibbles but no hook ups, felt like pin fish. The fishing pier is free to use and was not very busy. The only thing that made it a little bit of a difficulty was the limited parking but it was beautiful

While I did not fish here, I did take a walk around this area one morning and it was very pleasant. You can watch boats, wildlife, and people all from one spot. Beautiful view with a slight breeze from the bay. Shaded areas with benches allow you to sit or stand and not get baked in the sun. It's not a huge area, but it's nice when you want to go somewhere not too crowded. You have a busy bridge just above you but you almost don't notice it.

Excellent place to get baits or board your vessels for fishing. Super friendly owner and helpful.

Lovely spot to hang out. I only stopped by for a quick look with my daughter and we both enjoyed our time. We met a very friendly local and he shared tips on what type of fishes could be caught there. Dear sir, if you're reading this, thank you so much for your time and I hope you got that sheepshead to bite at the end.

We had a great time with some fantastic live music, and a cool sea breeze off the bay. Memorable in paradise!

Been fishing and grabbing bait here since the mid 2000's great bait and the store has improved over the years!
