We visited because of a review that I had seen from another poster. Absolutely fantastic the food was prepared way beyond my expectations the amount of food that we received was incredible an absolute must try!!! I need to go back! there are so many things on the menu that I want to try. Definitely an awesome place to go!

If you are in Wyoming, MI; make sure you start your day off at Shelley’s Kitchen for breakfast (or lunch). We stopped in as a group of bikers fueling up before putting some miles on the motorcycles. We were instantly greeted by smiling faces and friendly waitstaff. Shelley also came out from the kitchen, and personally welcomed us.
Then, there was the food!! Delicious! My husband and I shared a plate of the special ham hash brown casserole with two eggs and homemade toast. The cherry on top, was the house-made hot sauce. Creamy, savory amazing! For the sweet side, we also split a Monte Cristo which was just divine. Texas toast style French toast sandwiches creamy Swiss and Smokey ham, and came with fresh made strawberry sauce for dipping. Yum!

I stopped here at 12:30 for lunch and I was seated right away. My server came right over and gave me a menu and took my drink order. When she came back with my drink, I ordered the Hot Beef Sandwich along with mashed potatoes.

After a short time, my meal was delivered, and it looked really good. There was a beef sandwich that was totally covered in rich beef gravy. In the center of the plate there was a big pile of mashed potatoes.

The beef was extremely tender and flavorful. The beef gravy was creamy and rich, it covered very stiff mashed potatoes. They were cream and the gravy was perfect on top.

The overall experience was very good. I felt I received more than my money's worth on the meal and the service was good as well. This is a nice little diner with a great vibe to it. I will be back.

My husband showed me this little gem from his childhood. Super cute diner, friendly service, and homey feel.
I got the chicken and waffles and at first sight was not sure. My first bite was so much more than I expected. Waffle was good, pretty standard. But the chicken tenders were crispy, flakey, and delicious. Paired very well with the waffle!
My husband got the western omelet and was very surprised by the fact that the veggies were actually sautéed before they were cooked inside the egg. The gravy on top was an excellent addition. American fries were also great!
If you are ever passing through Wyoming, this place is a must!

Great first time experience. Cute little diner on Burton st. very friendly staff, family-like atmosphere. Ordered the Steak Deluxe Hashbrowns with a stack of Chocolate chip pancakes and a tasty cup of coffee. Will be coming back, thanks for the great breakfast,Shelly!!!

This place deserves its high rating. Fantastic home cooked food, friendly welcoming staff and owner. We had eggs and corn beef hash and pancakes, all excellent. Highly recommended for great simple old school cooking.

There are really friendly and they know the regular customers but if you are not they don't treat you different, my son and I eat really good for and get out of there happys to start the day

Arrived after 1pm and was just slowing down. Got the Shelly Burger with hand dipped onion rings.Wow..it came on grilled bread and it was hot, juicy and could not put it down! Husband got the cowboy burger and onion rings said it was very good. Grand daughter got a Bacon Burger and fries. She said it was the best burger she has eaten in a long time. Onion rings were fresh and hand dipped NOT bread crumbs. Onions were tender and did not pull or fall out of batter. I almost hate to give this review because I don't want to share this gem and risk spoiling it! It was a really good lunch! Food and pop (free refills) for three came to $35.00 plus tip.

Always top notch. From the service, atmosphere, and food you just can't beat it. It is definitely the place to eat when you come to Wyoming Michigan! Thank you for your dedication to our community! We love you Shelly!

Fantastic food and great service. Had more gravy than biscuits, which is the best way. No one wants to run out of gravy with a biscuit still on the plate. Will be going back. Thank you.

Amazing as always. Been coming in since 2001 when we lived on Godfrey. Now we live in Wayland and still come for breakfast at Shelly's. Service is on point with great customer service, food is delicious and always properly prepared.

This place is fantastic and easily deserves the 5 stars. great fresh food, good service, the building is small cute and snug, grew up around here, just overall and great place.

Boy was I surprised of the amount of food! 2 pancakes, 2 bacon and 2 eggs WOW! Enough to bring home. Pancakes were so fluffy and lite. Stagg is friendly and quick to serve you hot food.

What a fun and super cute little place. The food was great! The portions are generous and the staff is AMAZING!!! So hard working and friendly. This is certainly going to be added to our list of favorites.

This is a great place to get breakfast. It looks unassuming but the food is just fantastic. I plan on coming back in the future for more pancakes!

Shelley has wonderful food and it’s like cheers everyone knows your name. I noticed the staff greeting people as they walk in with their name very friendly environment and awesome food.

Old fashioned home cook meals that are wonderful. Everything is good. Wish there were more places like this

For a small cozy location the food you get is huge in taste. The shellys omelette is a one of a kind and the locals with the friendly conversations and the friendly wait staff really set this little gem apart from the rest of the big chains.

This is an amazing place. The food is amazing, I love the diner feel. Has a great variety of breakfast food. Servers are so friendly and patient with the customers.
