Victory Lane BBQ

Im not exaggerating when i say its the best bbq in town. I'm picky about my pulled pork because I usually find it either too dry, too fatty, or underseasoned when I order i out. This one was perfect with a wonderful smoke flavor and not fatty or chewy at all. The baked beans were seriously the best I have ever eaten, and I'm not even a big fan of beans. Had a great kick to them. Can't wait for them to open in the Lake District!

O M G!! I have never tasted BBQ that was more amazing than the food we got today from Victory Lane!! Holy Wow! The pork, brisket, and smoked sausage was seriously the best I have ever eaten. The potato salad and brownie wasn't too shabby either. Why do these people not have a restaurant???? They are hands down better than ANY bbq place I have ever eaten in. No pics because we ate it all. Seriously, THE BEST.

WARNING! DO NOT HAVE YOUR VEHICLE IN HERE AFTER 9:00 P.M. THEY WILL LOCK YOU IN!!! I pulled up at about 8:30 planning to get takeout. They close at 9:00, but it looked like the country club was completely closed. I sat in the parking lot trying to find another barbecue joint to go to, when I went to leave the gates were locked!

Update: as you can see, the owner replied and even offered a free sandwich, unfortunately I'm no longer in Memphis but appreciate the offer, I'm upping my review to five stars for that reason because obviously they do have good service, hopefully someday I can sample their food as well. I'm still leaving the warning up though, hopefully it will keep someone else from getting locked in!

Twice lately we have ordered the pork and chicken for family get togethers. Everyone loves. Trust me we have picky bbq eaters in our family and Victory Lane BBQ gets rave reviews from all.

The food is always good. I have tried the Brunswick stew, pork bbq pizza, brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, beans and slaw. It's all delicious and I definitely recommend this place. And it's less than 1 mile from our house.

Attended the Sock Hop sponsored by the Lakeland Senior Center and Victory Lane catered the barbecue dinner - all delicious but the banana pudding was something that I personally did not like. Everything else was very tasty.

I am a self appointed BBQ expert. I’ve tried BBQ all around the US, from TX to CA to NC and SC, you name it. This is probably one of the best BBQ places I ever been to. A must try while in Memphis.

Great Service for hard working men and women on site. Always nice and ready for the lunch rush with a site of 3000 people!

Everything was excellent. Had curbside pickup right on time. Ordered the pulled pork/brisket combo with Mac and cheese and potato salad. All very good, going for some ribs next time!!

As an expert in eating BBQ, I know Memphis’ best when I taste it. Victory Lane is consistently at the top and you won’t be disappointed.

We always get Victory Lane BBQ for 4th of July. Great BBQ, beans are amazing, and owners are very nice and accommodating. Love VLB!

Taste of brisket was ok, but 4.29 for an 4oz container of mac and cheese RIDICULOUS....
