Chubby's Chicken

Was in town for a bowling tournament and headed here for lunch. Saw good reviews and pics and was NOT disappointed!!

The food was very good, served hot, and you get plenty. Fair prices and big portions. We will definitely make the drive from Springfield again.

2nd visit, breakfast was good too!

Absolutely delicious! By far the best Chicken and fried mushrooms I've had. It's a definite must to visit and enjoy way more food than you can eat. The portions are massive!

We had breakfast here on Wednesday morning 4/10/24. First time my wife and I have been here. She had the chicken fried chicken with scrambled eggs and fries. I had the Chubby's omelette. Everything was absolutely fantastic! Very well seasoned and cooked to perfection! I'm very impressed that Buffalo has a great fried chicken restaurant and their breakfast is wonderful. I told my wife that I thought it was the best breakfast I have ever had! Well done!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered a ton of food, got more than we were expecting. I personally ordered the 2 piece fish dinner, got about 10 pieces of THE BEST fish I've ever eaten in this town. The chicken wings, chicken strips and sandwich were phenomenal according to my husband and nephew. You definitely get your money's worth and then some.

Large portions, fresh ingredients, delicious food and wonderful service. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!!

Fast friendly service. Reasonable price. My Tenderloin Sandwich was very delicious, an huge. Also very good homemade pies. Definitely would recommend this place.

We ordered our food to go and I have to say...This was the best chicken dinner I have had in such a very long time! The people are friendly, unlike what another reviewer stated, the place is clean and the cooks were wearing gloves and no food was left out. Some people I guess just have to start trouble! This is the best little eatery that has been in this building and congrats on the excellent fried chicken! I will definitely recommend to others!

We have eaten here several times but this morning decided to try their breakfast, their breakfast was absolutely delicious just like all their other food! We brought home a piece of homemade Peanutbutter cream pie and holy cow I will say that it's the best Peanutbutter pie I've ever had! We will continue to support this local business and may I mention staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean!

For home cooked fried chicken and more comfort food delights, " Chubby Chicken" soothes your palate. Take your family there and support the local cooks of this community. Fresh food, friendly servers and cozy atmosphere are all in one haven.

If I could leave 6 stars I would this is so good. huge portions and delicious food. everything was amazing and then the desserts topped it off. prices were very good and the atmosphere was very kid friendly. I will definitely come back here again and again.

Everything was delicious and the portions were so good had to have to go boxes lol also the homemade pie was so good we bought the whole pie and they even discounted it for buying the whole pie wonderful place the waitress went above and beyond to help us with whatever our needs were

This place has the best fried mushrooms and gizzards I've ever had. They are crispy and tender and an affordable price.
I've never been so disappointed at getting full because you get about three meals out of what they give you.

Worth the wait! Made fresh to order. We ordered chicken dinners and we knew we would have to wait a bit but it was so worth it. Chicken was moist and delicious. We had mashed potatos and greenbeans. I recommend anything on the menu. Lots of excellent reviews. Parking is not great but I'm sure they will figure that out.

Blooming onion is not sitting in grease 😍 the tenderloin's breading is thick but the meat is thicker. (Shut up hope)

Great new place in Buffalo Missouri. Food was delicious....centered around chicken entrees. If you like mom and pop restaurants, check them out. All remodeled in the interior with friendly service.

Food is excellent. If you leave there hungry, It's your fault! Also, prices are right!
