Banana Republic

I stopped by because I needed to pick out a last minute outfit for an NYE party. All of the sales associates working at the time (I visited on 12/30 at roughly 6:30) were extremely helpful in finding the right sizes and styles that I was looking for, and even made recommendations on how to further style my outfit beyond the shirt and pants I bought. This was easily one of the most pleasant retail experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I’m looking forward to returning in the future.

Friendly staff. They knew exactly where and what I was looking for. They even had a pattern scarf the website said was out of stock. That made my day.

There are so many cheap clothes places around, it's nice to walk into a store that offers great quality clothes. They look better, fit better and last longer! Service is great too. Yes it's a bit pricey but hey, you get what you pay for... literally. If you've been shopping at one of those discount chain stores, come get a few really nice pieces for your wardrobe. Not gonna regret it.

Customer is dead everywhere else but here ! So interactive ! They make you feel welcome ! Open to answers ! Appropriately engaging and so informative-without attitude or belittling. I wish I can be friends with all the employees . Fantastic service . 100stars out of 5 stars . Must experience the service .

I love this store. They offer really great assistance and have a wonderful selection. Whether I'm looking in their clearance area or on regular price I can usually find a good deal and some great sales. The quality is wonderful and the ability to find what you want the second to none.

Very clean shop and great service

Melissa was amazingly helpful and good at picking out things that made me look great. Happened to have a big sale going on, too! Very pleased.

EDIT: I'd like to add that Banana Republic's clothing is of excellent quality. I've compared their shirts and pants from the likes of Jos A Banks and even Orvis's Barbour, and everything about the Banana Republic garments is superior, from material selection to small details, like that extra button and button hole way down below your waist line so as to present a neat and continuous seam down the front. The one downside to Banana Republic is the limited fit. If you're not a slim fit, you're not going to find what you need without going to a larger size, and that doesn't look good on anybody.

This is a large Banana Republic store. It's not a huge one (think Michigan Avenue in Chicago), but it is twice the size of the one in Grand Rapids (40min west). For men this is a great location as the store square footage is divided evenly between genders.

In summary: if you are a woman this is a great location. If you are a man this is probably the best location in Michigan.

High quality clothing for men and women, from business casual to business professional to everyday looks with a touch of class. The quality of the clothing is reflected in the prices but it’s worth every penny.
