First time visiting this establishment, and from the moment I was greeted, the service and food were amazing. The server greeted and sat us and was the most pleasant and inviting lady I have had to serve me in a while. The first view of the menu and i was taken aback by the fact that they served nachos made with chopped chicken. Well, being that I don't eat red meat, I had to try them and was blown away at the portion size as well as the platter itself. Delicious and fairly priced, it doesn't even begin to describe how much I enjoyed them. On to the entrée I decided to go for the fettuccine with alfredo and grilled chicken. So they make their own homemade alfredo sauce, almost unheard of in the commercial food industry these days. The meal was truly amazing, tasted fresh, and didn't have that funky prepackaged after taste. Absolutely delightful. My wife had the ziti and red sauce with mushrooms, looked and tasted delicious she had no complaints. I tried it, and it was quite superb, not soggy or undercooked the right amount of bite and texture. After the meal was done, we received the bill and thought it would be higher than my hairline, it wasn't. It was well below what a meal that delicious should have been. Fair price, good service a definite for those who want to enjoy a great meal and not feel the wallet get thinner just by looking at the menu. Will be coming back soon.

Growing up in that area, I must say there is no pizza like it!! it’s a sweeter sauce and a different kind of crust than I can get down in the Philly suburbs and we have a ton of excellent pizza places here.. I still have family in the area and anytime I get an opportunity pop in for some pizza I do. Of course, I love the traditional crust, but I must say the cauliflower crust is absolutely amazing and a healthier option for me. Pizza is priced reasonably and never disappoints. In addition, they have many more other options that are just as tasty. Takes me back to my childhood . My first date ever 30 years ago with my husband was at the grotto in Harveys Lake so that will always hold a special place to me. Since then you’ve opened many additional locations.

This is my farewell review of Grotto Pizza.
Today, I received the unfortunate news that's a customer complained about my service dog.
Grotto has been very respectful and kind to me over the last 2 years. Everybody here loves Beauty, my service dog. Yet due to select complaints from some customers, Grotto has made the decision to disallow service to me for dine in with her.
It's a big ole punch in the gut. Not just the heart.
Yet I understand and respect their decision.
When it comes to business, making money is forefront and working with all walks of civilization is second, at best.
When a party of 8 decides to complain about a single guest and his service dog, the business will usually side where more money is spent.
Though I am a twice weekly regular, spending 20-40$/week. That just doesn't compare to a party of 8 2x a month spending 80$+ per visit.
So though the law is the law and service dogs are supposed to be allowed. I will not be pressing the issue.
This is because of the kind and friendly nature of everyone who works here and the calm accommodating atmosphere that I've had the pleasure of experiencing.

About the food:
The fact that the best pizza in the valley is offered at an affordable price at least 1x a week and their wing specials are very fairly priced and nice and big certainly helps contribute to this as well.
Not to mention the coffee kicks! A decent aroma (when fresh and a little burnt when not fresh, the staff will inform you when it's a fresh pot and make a fresh one upon request regardless) and strong robust flavour with a pick me up that lasts well into the night yet which is unconquerable with a few Turkey slices before bed if you need to sleep.
The soups vary and are a nice mix of noodles, veggies and meats. The only one I dont like: the French onion soup leaves a fair chunk of room for improvement. it's just not consistent nor properly made. Too thick, bread is funny and the flavor doesn't quite hit.
Overall I would recommend Grotto pizza. Especially for regulars looking for a deal.
The staff really care, get along nicely with one another and dont make mistakes. I've never had attitude nor a cold shoulder. though sometimes stress is a factor due to personal concerns and how busy it is, that's a natural thing and never truly affects the overall experience.
So with all of the above said...
It has been a good ride. Friendly, tasty and easy on the wallet. I'm sure beauty will miss herefrensdiand some of the customers will certainly miss her too!

The Monday dine in special is a godsend for people on a budget.
It's a full, no skimp pizza (with a extra topping included for no extra charge) fit for 1 or 2 people that won't leave you lacking and wanting more.
Without it I (and my dog and cat) wouldn't be able to enjoy this delicious pizza weekly.
It means alot to me that Grotto decides to keep this special where it ended others because it's essentially a nod to the poor that we are still recognized, respected and appreciated by Grotto and its staff.
It also allows me to leave a better tip than I otherwise would have.
I definitely recommend eating in on Mondays and ordering this special.

We attend trivia here on Thursday night. Amanda the bartender/waitress is amazing, she is quick to attend to everyone's needs and is extremely friendly no matter how busy she is. The managers are also extremely friendly. We have never had a complaint about any of the food we've had here

Had dinner in bar. Pizza, Wings, and Buscetta were excellent. Service was slow but that was because there was not enough servers. The ones who were serving were very polite and happy, so it was not as bad as it seemed. They had a three-piece group playing'70s music and the volume was very acceptable that you can have a conversation. Sometimes the entertainment is too loud and it's hard to speak amongst each other. But it is a fun time.

The Monday special is 12" pie with 1 topping for $5.99. I went with bacon. I thought it was a pretty good special to get for lunch today. I will definitely keep it in mind for future Monday lunches.

Food is great and the wait staff is friendly. Over the years I've probably had everything in their menu and I have never been dissatisfied. Pizza, cheese steaks and their Grand Slam wings are all good. Wings could be a bit bigger but the sauce is great. If you are looking for a comfortable place to watch a game or grab a bite to eat this is the spot. The bar is roomy and well stocked.

I want to start by saying that Grotto's pizza is one of the best pies around. If you're ordering for the first time, please consider that the bad reviews on here mostly reflect the thoughts of people who are typically dissatisfied with most things and who are prone to exaggeration. I have rarely encountered an issue with grottos, and I've ordered their pizza on at least 15 separate occasions. Mind you, I live on just about the last possible street they will deliver to. Not only have they always delivered their pizza exactly as I've ordered it, but it's always been within an hour- even at peak dinner hours. There was ONE occasion where the driver forgot my 2 liter but he actually drove up the street to buy me a replacement and dropped it back off at my apartment. I can't say one bad thing about Grotto's or this location. As I previously stated, if ordered from them MANY times and have always been satisfied with the food and service. Please take negative reviews with a grain of salt. I've worked in the restaurant business for years and the people writing horrible reviews will always find something to complain about no matter how good the food or service is. If you haven't had Grotto's, make sure you change that. It's an amazing pie and you are definitely missing out.

Delicious food and phenomenal service! Our waitress happened to be the manager. Diane was extremely pleasant and attentive despite the crowd and lack of staff. Kudos to all the employees! We will definitely be back.

The bartenders are great. Servers are very nice, friendly and always take and deliver my order perfectly. Pizza and wings are outstanding. The specials are great. A different one each day I believe. Many televisions to enjoy every sport for each season. Anyone who hasn't come in is missing a good time. I always look forward to seeing John come out and say hello to everyone. Friendly faces all around.
