Rob was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and a just a true gem all around. FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would give 10 stars if I could. After haggling at 3 other mattress stores, we came here. Ron's customer service is top notch. Cool vibe the second we walked in the door. He sold us the perfect mattress at a very reasonable price. (King size model with new cooling technology). American made locally and way cheaper than the competitors. This is the only mattress store I will shop at from now on. Highly recommend this shop. Don't waste your time going anywhere else.

I highly recommend American Mattress. Rob was extremely friendly, accommodating, and gave me a great deal on an amazing mattress. I had a much better experience here than any of the other mattress stores I looked in. I will definitely come back here in the future.

This is the kindest most attentive and non pushy mattress store I have ever been to. My family has been going here for years, ROB is a superstar and is so kindhearted and helps you find exactly what you need. They have great deals and some mattresses I haven’t heard of but let me tell you the quality is great compared to big mattress stores and the price is better. Give it a chance and you’ll see!

I ordered my second organic mattress “The Ojai” from American Mattress today and I couldn’t be happier with this company. Their organic mattresses are hand and custom made right here in Ventura County. I sleep so well on their organic, chemical free mattresses, they’re so comfortable and they’re really reasonably priced too. Robin at the Thousand Oaks store is very knowledgeable and helpful.

The customer service is off the charts. They really helped me make the most informed decision taking into consideration how much I wanted to spend, what firmness of mattress I felt really taken care of..

I went here and was greeted by Justin, he let me roam around for a while and then asked if I had any questions. I thought I would be fine searching myself, but I was surprised by how much knowledge he had about the different types and he had suggestions based on my wife and my needs. I ended up getting a bed and I couldn't be happier. I have had the best sleep I have ever had. The delivery guys were very friendly, courteous, and installed the bed perfectly. I could not be happier. Also the showroom is very large so there are lots to chose from to test.

Was looking for a quality mattress and adjustable base for sometime. Came across American Mattress Family in Thousand Oaks in July 2023 and Rob showed me plenty of mattresses that were ideal for my back due to a recent injury. Great customer service answered all our questions.. got the adjustable split king bed .. delivery was timely, installers took old bed out set up new bed in a matter of minutes. Very happy with the choice of bed and with American mattress family. Highly recommend!!!
