Fogline Coffee

Wish we had found him a week sooner at the beginning of our trip to the redwoods! This is by FAR the best coffee shop in the area if you are considered a coffee snob. There are other places with plenty drinkable coffee but this is the only small batch, top notch roaster around. We spent some time speaking with the owner and he said he’s been roasting his own coffee for years because there hasn’t been any of this type of coffee in Humboldt county. His experience shows and we are so glad to have been able to buy a couple bags so we could finish our CA trip knowing we will have stellar coffee every morning. No guess work! There’s a couple types of small batch drop coffee available (even let’s you sample to see which is best for your day!) and they were each amazing and distinctly different. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏🏼 keep doing what you’re doing! Note: no pastries which in our book is just fine. They are doing their one thing super well! We went to donut mill for donuts because they were the bomb! Maybe see if you can collaborate with donut mill when you scale out your gig! That would be worth coming back to the area to see 👀

You gotta go find this spot! It's a literal HIDDEN jem. It was a bit off the beaten path, but for obvious good reasons. My mocha was pure caffinated bliss. We liked it so much, we bought some beans to go! And they ship their beans as well. I will be ordering more espresso beans, cause the bag we bought is almost gone. Quality. Fresh. Made with love. You can taste the difference and see the dedication and passion the owner has for great coffee. If you are in the area, you should definitely check it out. And don't be shy, park by the yoga place and follow the signs for the tiny coffee house, around the corner of the log building. YOU WONT BE SORRY. 🙂♥

Currently sipping on a cup with raspberry and cocoa undertones and I have to say this is the best cup I’ve had in years. The flavors are smooth and there’s no bitter after-bite at all. We love the microlot business model. Small and well-cared-for organic crops plus a delicious lighter roast have made an incredible product! Well done Fogline! Delicious!

Best Coffee in Humboldt.
If you're a true coffee aficionado, this place is it.
So glad they are roasting here and I no longer need to order specialty coffee from out of the area.
While a few of their coffees can be found at Eureka Natural Foods and the CoOp, I learned yesterday that Fog Line has a special selection at their main location off of Giuntoli Lane.

First thing on the agenda when traveling is locating good coffee. When visiting Arcata to run Avenue of the Giants found Fogline Coffee. It’s definitely worth a short drive to get a latte. It was delicious, so much so that I got a bag of espresso beans to go too.

Without a doubt the best coffee in Humboldt (and probably Northern California). The guys know their coffee stuff but even better… they’re great dudes who care about their customers. Extremely lucky Fogline is right down the road from where I work. Great place to stock up on your beans for home. But also Try a pour over! Or the cappuccino. Enjoy yourself.

It’s a small shop. Just follow the signs and it will sneak up on you.

This place is a hidden gem. This morning was my 2nd visit. I have to say I'm a hardcore Starbucks girl. One of those gals with a huge custom order for one drink. This morning I got a Mocha, my usual morning coffee. I took one sip and couldn't believe I didn't even need to add Splenda, or anything else for that matter. It was delicious and strong. An excellent mix for me.

The price was reasonable, and you're able to use Google and apple pay. That's a super plus for me. I'm one happy customer.

Love this place! Great coffee and great people! Pete and Rob were friendly and very knowledgeable about their craft coffee options. The latte was delicious and smooth, not bitter at all. I bought a bag of coffee to enjoy at home as well. I will definitely return to Fogline Coffee!

My husband and I were driving through Arcata at the end of April and he found me incredible coffee shops on our trip. Do not miss FogLine! This shop has charm, incredible expertise, unique and wonderful tasting coffee beans for home, and a delightful espresso drink for on the go. Plus, the team is delightful!

Owners are very knowledgeable about their coffee. Super friendly service and they aim to please. Be sure to give this place a try!

Robb has an incredible palate for coffee and roasts to perfection. I’m so addicted now I’m on the weekly jarscription plan for the best deal. Hands down the Best coffee around.

What a cool cafe space! Excellent coffee, handcrafted with intention. These guys know what’s up. Espresso was spot on and best nitro cold brew I’ve had in a long time.

We got to try the samples at Eureka farmers market today. It tasted smooth and delicious, not bitter or overly acidic. I am looking forward to visiting the storefront in Arcata!
