Homeless population seems to be dwindling. Parking lot looked clean 👍

Absolutely respectable people around there except this guy and the dollar store he just kicked me out for having an Autism fact you know what if you can't deal with autism then you need to get out of that job because half of those people in there are disabled and you need to respect people and he stands at 61 heavyset man between the weight of 210 to 2:45 and he wants to disrespect me I've been going to the dollar store for over 20 years everybody do not go to that dollar store they are disrespectful to people and to the disabled

Kabob Cafe is just heaven especially when you live as far away as I do. Hasn't let me down yet and I certainly don't anticipate that. Besides that there's nothing else here that can compete or compare. Sad but true and this place is great anyways so it doesn't matter

I am a person who enjoys just looking around and this establishment is a very nice place to shop. Finding a good variety of offers is very easy. Sometimes I go overboard because it is so easy to get neat articles.

Right off 101 in North Arcata! Variety of businesses with 💵 store, pharmacy, several restaurants, gas, motels across the street, fast food drive throughs and beyond!

I have liked the Valley West shopping center since i was a child, it has changed over the years. Sad to see some of my favorite businesses close up shop... but the folks at work in all the businesses are super friendly, knowledgeable about the area. They are happy to assist in any ways they can. I would exercise caution though crossing the street to the overnighter accommodations. Some questionable characters frequent that area, happy to offer "pick me ups"... can be some what dangerous for parking. Dont leave anything of even the slightest value in sight. Not even a nickel, be replacing broken windows...

Great variety of shops and stores! I can do anything I need in one place! For all price ranges. The variety of restaurants is amazing!
Also, it's right across from lots of motels for guests, plus the bus stops in front or back. Very convenient!

Excellent service! Poor waitress was the only one there on the floor. Seating, getting drinks, taking orders, cash register, and coming back around making sure all her customers were satisfied.

OMG the oriental buffet in this shopping center is amazing. Mongolian bbq, sushi, and a giant selection of food. Nice and fresh and great tasting. Best buffet I have ever been to.

Also nice to find a harbor freight needed a tool while on the road for my trailer. Nice to get an inexpensive one since I have a nicer one at home.

Nice shopping center. Has a Chinese Buffet with amazing food and reasonable prices, dollar store, subway, Rays Food Place grocery store, laundromat, harbor freight tools, radio shack, pizza, and more!

Definitely recommend the Oriental Buffet, food is excellent and prices reasonable. They also have a "Cut the Rope" game inside where I won an iPad after about 10 tries! Awesome.

I love to browse & shop @ Harbor Freight Tools. Today, my lady & myself stopped at Irv's Big & Tall, a store we first visited in Henderson Center, Eureka. It's a fantastic place for basic clothing.

Lots of homeless junkies in the parking lot. Be careful. The cops should do better by jailing them and also sending them out of town .

The only complaint I have is that the homeless evade the entire shopping center and I would go there more if it weren't for people begging, or shooting up drugs in breeze way while kids are out and about in broad daylight. It's become a sad thing. I was homeless, was also working 2-3 jobs and struggled but finally found a roof over my head.

Nice shopping center. Good stores. Harbor freight tools.. Dollar tree.. Rays food place. But my favorite is irv's big and tall. Great place to get clothes for taller or bigger men.

The Chinese Buffet was delicious, the food was freshly made. The Dollar Tree is one of the biggest I have ever been in - I would have stayed and purchased more but it was warm inside - A/C is needed.

last stop to get your picnic supplies beach access before you're out to sea at madd river beach access and madd river boat ramp.

Issac runs this store. He is so nice and friendly . I worked witb him at the 800 w Harris store before he took over Arcata manager!!!
