Kebab Cafe

A good place for a kebab craving. We ordered a dinner upgrade which includes rice, diced tomato, cucumbers, onions and cabbage. Then we ordered meat to go on top: beef, pork, chicken, lamb as well as grilled veggies. We also ordered falafel which was nice and crispy. All were pretty tasty, came with extra dipping sauce and two hot sauces. Service was friendly.

The Gyro meat had about half the salt as other restaurants... Good job on that! Food was great. Very friendly service.
We ordered shrimp and lamb kebab's, gyro's, baba ganoush with pita bread, tabouli, falafels, and rice.

The Kebab Cafe is in a small strip mall with easy access from the highway and plentiful parking. There are only a few tables, but most were getting orders to go.

The gyros sandwich was presented on a fresh baked pita with a good portion of well-cooked and tasty meat and plenty of veggie toppings. I opted for the red sauce, CA instead of the traditional tzatziki sauce. It was spicy, but not too hot and added a nice flavor.

The tabouli was good, with a nice blend of lemon tartness and minty freshness. All the veggies were fresh and crisp.

The staff was nice and the service prompt. Great spot to stop on a road trip when you've already had too much fast food or burgers.

Counter service excellent. Greeted by cooks upon entry. Guided through menu selection. Turkish meatball sandwich and some other sandwich, both excellent. Served with side sauces, chili and taziki. Candy bar with sesame nougat. Fresh made pita bread with an eggplant garlic dipping sauce. Yum on all accounts! Going back to experiment with other menu adventures.

Excellent Gyros with Tzatziki sauce, my favorite; I usually ask for their original hot sauce, with Turkish Coffee and Halva on the side. Fries are yummy. Great customer service. Great to get there at 11:30am before the lunchroom rush. Worth visiting if you are looking for a healthy lunch full of great options. Indoor and outdoor seating, plus take out.

Fresh persian and Greek dishes. Relaxing atmosphere. Love to see the traditional Iranian culture Artwork for decorating the walls.

I feel like we accidentally found the best restaurant in town. We walked across the street from the hotel to find a line almost out the door. Service was fast and friendly. All the food is made to order so you may have to wait a few minutes but your food will arrive hot, flavorful and NOT dried out.

This is the only good gyro in Humboldt County! The rest of their menu is excellent as well, all their food is fresh, well-seasoned and prepared with love.

Kabob Café is consistently good. No, consistently fantastic. Fresh and filling with everything you'd expect from a pita joint. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu and they are always happy to help customize if you want.

There are a lot of interesting choices to have here. I've tried a lot of the menu and so far everything is amazing. The staff will always try to make your experience better and are very polite. This is a great place for a slightly pricy splurge for a great meal.

Delicious food with a super friendly staff!

Keto friendly. The food was amazing and priced well. I feel bad for the women working here, in what has become such a hostile and chaotic environment.

WOW. Just wow. This food was absolutely delicious!! I got a chicken skewer dinner plate along with an order of their Halloumi cheese with red sauce. Everything from the rice, to the seasonings on the chicken, to the red sauce was very flavorful. Everyone there has really good energy and you can taste it in the food! I love how it definitely feels like a mom and pop restaurant with authentic recipes. I can't wait to come back!

Wonderful food! Everytime I've been here, the food has been amazing. The staff is friendly. The portion sizes are great. One gyro is enough to fill anyone up.

The food is so delicious; it always makes the wait worth it. It's a great hole in the wall that more people should give love to, and makes a tasty meal into a memorable one that will want you to re-live over again.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots. Many meat, vegetarian and vegan options. The service is reliably good. You can see the kitchen and it is always kept clean. I'm always satisfied with my decision to eat here.

Seriously good food here. Very surprised based on the exterior. The rice especially stood out as unique and flavorful. All the girls that worked there were super nice as well.

Great food and prices to match, definitely one of the better restaurants in Arcata. You can eat in or take it to go and they also have items you can buy and bake at home! Great chicken burger for only 6$ and a cup of soup for 2.25.
