The great folks at lone star make me a better gardener, because it all starts with great soil and they know what their doing when it comes to mixing great foundation soil and mulch...thank you!

We purchased turkey compost and cotton burr compost from them to mix into our native soil and I have to say it was very well worth the investment. Very friendly staff, and I was able to have it delivered to my house with no problems, and I even when and picked up a few yards this year to top dress they had someone to load us up. Very pleased!

Talked with Rufus on Saturday and was able to get some Top Soil and Planters Mix delivered in Smithville. The quality was really good and service was 5 stars***** due to they were able to accommodate the delivery in an efficient and expeditious manner. Several neighbors asked where we got it from and I gave them your name. Hopefully some more business will come your way.

I've used compost and mulch from a few local providers. The results I got from compost delivered from Lone Star are amazing. My lawn has never been healthier. Even my neighbors have mentioned it.
My tiny garden is producing so much more than we are used to we have started donating.

No pests or bonus seeds from unwanted plants have ever been an issue with mulch or compost from these guys. I can't say the same about the other places.

What a huge disappointment this company turned out to be. I had used them for several years and put in an order for delivery on Friday 1/18/19. I made sure to be home but no delivery arrived. I called to check in and no one answered. I called again later in the day and still no answer. After two days there were no calls no answer and no follow up from the company. Finally Monday I received a text. I called back and texted back and again no answer. Unfortunately this company's lack of follow up or explanation of why they are ghosting me has lost my business and my referral.
***** Company reached out today 5/7/19 on Goggle and apologized for the experience I received. Thank you folks. I appreciate that we all face challenges and wish you much success.
