Nick gave me my first tattoo. Great gob. I'm very glad I chose this shop for my first time.

I've been getting a lot of work done from Justin this last year and I'm extremely happy with the results. I would recommend his shop to anyone.

One of, if not the best, tattoo shops in Southern California. I've been tattooed several times here and each time had a great experience. Great vibes, great location right off the PCH, and everyone that works at the shop is the heaviest of hitters. No matter what idea you've got or style you prefer, someone here will lace you up right.

All of the guys at DPT are super rad dudes, I’ve been tattooed by Nick and Ivan both and they make getting poked super relaxing with great conversations and chill vibes. All of the work they’ve done I love, amazing artists and quality professional work. I look forward to getting pieces from Justin and Kevin soon. Amazing shop.

Killer shop full of talented artists of all different styles. Very clean and professional with nice decor and space. My husband and I were tattooed by Matt Tischler and absolutely LOVE our work and experience with him. Definitely will be coming back!
Don't be confused by other reviews, they are not associated with the piercing shop next door. These guys do AMAZING work and deserve insane credit for their talent.

My wife surprised me with an appointment to get a tattoo I've wanted for my birthday with Justin at Dana Point Tattoo. I sent him a message a few days prior and he responded quickly at every turn. Justin was communicative, and he collaborated with me on my design idea, following my idea and suggesting his own creative touches.

When I arrived for the appointment Justin was friendly and put me at ease after not having gotten work done in a few years. He estimated the time and price accurately, and when all was said and done the piece came out better than I had expected. I was glad that I had listened to his design suggestions. This is by far my favorite tattoo to date, and we are already discussing next tattoo ideas.

I got a small tattoo done here in a matter of about an hour from the time I walked in to the time I walked out, on a Saturday! I gave them the design and they made sure it was the exact size and exact placement that I wanted on my arm. Multiple shop workers were really welcoming, friendly, and they all were professional. Very good price for the piece I got, would definitely recommend it.

A must see tattoo shop for anyone in Orange County. Walking in you'll first notice how well decorated the shop is. The atmosphere of the shop is very inviting and everyone working there is very friendly. I have been tattooed by all the artists there and couldn't be happier with them. Great for your first tattoo or for a seasoned collector.

Went for an ear piercing. Travis was fantastic; super friendly and very professional. He did a great job of making sure the holes were lined up and I was completely happy before proceeding. Would definitely recommend him for anyone.

Cool tattoo shop in beautiful Dana Point. Went in to get some work done by Josh Woods and was greeted quickly by the other artist. Place is clean and decorated nicely and their taste in music scores them extra points.

Good variety of styles and incredible work being produced daily. Justin Hobson does the best fine line work/color work I've seen in person (heavy shading, watercolor, whatever). Theres a really cool vibe when all the artists are together working. It's up a flight of stairs (not handicap accessible). Little smoking balcony out front. Small, super clean shop with some of the best inking talent in OC no lie, and fair prices for the work that they do. Make an appointment, some of the artists are booked for months!

Josh Woods ROCKS. He accommodated this Canadian boy's request to give him an impromptu Tattoo with class and kindness.
