Best place to get pedals in the state! Not only do they have a massive selection where you can find anything you’re looking for and more, but the owner John is awesome! He answered all my questions, gave me great advice, and made me feel comfortable taking my time to test out tons of pedals to see which one suited my needs best! Other places can make it feel as if you’re inconveniencing them, and that you need to hurry up and buy something.. but John runs a really relaxed and friendly store where you don’t feel rushed or pressured. 10/10 will shop there again

Super cool shop, king of pedals! If they make or made a pedal, you will likely find it here new and used selection is great. John is very good guy. Please support local businesses like this.

Excellent neighborhood guitar shop! John is very helpful and knowledgeable. They have tons of nice G&L guitars and pedals on top of the various other brands (new and used), that come in. His repair associates do amazing warranty and out-of-pocket work. I have also heard their guitar teachers are very good too.

john is amazing, sometimes he can seem a little cluttered or "unprofessional" but i think it's more to his credit to be as down to earth as he is. super easy to work with and will give you great deals, trading in stuff here always goes fantastically. (those criticisms mind you are not my own but of others i have talked to who have shopped)

I typically judge a music store by the first impression. John the owner was super friendly and answered all my questions immediately when I walked in. He even put a customer call on hold to attend to my questions. Also he seems to have a good selection of new and used gear. It's always good to have a friendly music store in the neighborhood so I hope he sticks around for a long time.

I got a guitar fixed and picked up. The peg was loose for the guitar strap and the string peg was bent. A bit of a warning tough, they're really backed up for service work. I guess everyone got back to their old instruments and found them to be broke during the pandemic

Fantastic store and great service. A Pedal I was interested was out, so John recommended a different one. The recommendation fit my needs better than my original choice! These kind of small businesses need to be supported and utilized because there just isn't a replication for excellent taste and customer service. Eclipse Music has both of these.

Amazing! We bought our first acoustic guitar here and had a great experience. Very helpful and we didn't feel rushed or pressured. There was a muuch better selection than other stores we went to. The current hours of operation are different than what's listed so just call and see, they're very nice!

I have one more Twin Cities area guitar shop to visit to complete my quest to check out all the shops in the area. This was second to last on my list and a 40 minute drive to get to. Glad I did. Amazing selection of pedals. Not just in number, but variety and cost. I had a list of 5-6 pedals that I haven't been able to try locally and they had them. They carry Sterling and G&L guitars [among others] which are both lines worth looking at. The owner is super helpful and patient with questions. I'm crowning this my new favorite shop.

Great place if you have questions about guitar equipment, amps guitars, foot pedals, bass guitars and a lot more. John is great and knowledgeable about the field with music. Awesome prices and deals at eclipse music. Highly recommended to go and shop to buy.

This store is a cross between a mom and pop shop and the pawn shop you wish existed. They have an awesome selection of new and used products that go beyond the usual store offerings. Vintage and used pedals from a klon, maestro fuzz tone, to the less exotic. Their new pedal selection is out in the open on a rack and you can plug in anything you want to try. The staff is knowledgeable and loves what they do you can tell in their excitement when discussing gear.

There's a myriad stock of quality used and new goods, and John is as approachable as he is informative. He spent over an hour talking through specs on a custom order with me, despite the fact that I hadn't committed to any purchase. You'll essentially get the ideal customer service experience here. Literally the only complaint I can muster is that the online inventory is incomprehensive... But stopping in and browsing for yourself is great here, so who cares?

Amazing selection of pedals, guitars, and amps. Owner was great to work with. Don’t be fooled by their terrible website, Eclipse music is a 1st class store for musicians.

Lots of cool guitars that are harder to find (Reverend, Eastwood, Airline) and a great, up-to-date selection of boutique effects pedals, maybe the best in the Twin Cities. Great, helpful friendly service. Ordered a new guitar through here and he was totally on top of things.

Cool spot. Heaven if you love effect pedals. One of the largest and most interesting selections I've seen. Purchased a couple, will be back.

A great little store focusing on unusual guitar lines (Hagstrom, The Reverend, G & L, and others) with loads of vintage amps and pedals. It's a local business run by people who love music and musical instruments, and not a glorified Wal-Mart selling the same old Stratocaster/Les Paul varieties everyone else seems to have. Just a great place.

Simply the best store to buy awesome pedals and guitars you won't find anywhere else. I can't recommend this place enough. Definitely my favorite guitar shop.

Great acoustic guitar knowledge (and, I assume, many other areas I don't ask about).
Carry great lines and are willing to let you go through (even take home) and try out. Ending up with me getting a really nice Recording King RO-10 000 size guitar that I wouldn't even have considered until I'd had the chance to try different models from the line. John and Mike are tops.

One of the coolest music shops in Minnesota. The guitar pedal selection is amazing and the owner was very helpful. Will be a returning customer!
