Visited this cozy little cafe at Café Buenos Aires was a revelation!

Was looking for just coffee, but the empanada display added food to my list. Customer service is very good, and the empanada exceeded all my expectations. I ordered the spinach and feta (don't judge me) empanada, and it was delicious. I ordered an Americano coffee, and it is good as well. They also have flavored coffees if that's your thing. Inside seating is limited, so it's best as a grab and go place.

ive never had mushroom-based coffee and cafe buenos aires made my first experience that much more special bc of so! the shop itself is so intimate and staff were really sweet and attentive to my visit! my favorite empanada would be the mushroom one! during my visit i ordered/tried the chorizo empanada, beef empanada, mushroom empanada, along with mini beignet chocolate trio (White, Dark, Hazelnut) and for my coffee i got the chagaccino!

which at first i was hesitant to try bc i heard mushroom based coffee?? but the taste was actually did not have any mushroom flavors and the mixture of the drink itself made the drink itself taste delicious so 10/10 would recommend for yall to try it out!

for the beignet they were good but i think i would prefer other fillings -however if youre a fan of chocolate then yall would really appreciate this trio

loved how relax and intimate the whole visit felt. theres a small indoor seating along with various outdoor seating spots nearby!

I'm visiting the area and locals recommended BA. I had the chicken & the caprese empanada. Both we delicious. The flavors & smooth melted cheese of the Caprese were perfect. I'm looking forward to trying their fruit ones.

This is located conveniently on the corner of Hollis and Powell. They have marvelous delicate empanadas. Don’t worry they aren’t the thick breaded ones that taste horrible they are light and wonderfully deep in flavor. The chicken was especially good. My friend who had not had an empanada before chose the ham and cheese. A little outside of what I would’ve wanted to do but it still tasted good. If all you want is a latte it is also a great choice. Located right on the green pathways it’s very convenient halfway through a walk.

Great little coffee shop, I arrived tired from 22 train ride from Seattle and needed a place to take a couple of meetings and get some good coffee. The guest space is pretty small - just two tables - but the coffee was great and staff friendly and helpful.

Come for the empanadas (mushroom one amazing), the great selection and customization of coffee drinks and stay for the good vibes !! Would definitely recommend

I recently started walking here as a treat when I have a day off. The empanadas are the bomb (2 or 3 vegan ones!) and they are the first coffee shop in the area that I know of to have mushroom coffee. Thank you cafe Buenos Aires for introducing me to the chagachino. It has been a game changer as someone who has been trying to stop drinking coffee for years. Love this spot !

Their empanada is the best I’ve ever had. Crust is not thick and they warm it up in 7 minutes. I ordered 1 beef and 1 mushroom, both are excellent. Since I’m not the biggest fan for sweet breakfast, this is the best savory breakfast. Hearty and warm. Juicy and soft beef with thin crust made my day. And mushroom was flavorful and plenty inside. Friendly staff makes this place extra good. So glad I visited this place after all these years of just passing by. I’m excited to finally visit and I will be coming here many more times from now on.

THE EMPANADAS!! The entree empanadas aren't too salty or oily and the dessert ones aren't too sweet. The mushroom latte is worth trying. Seating limited, one table inside and three outside, so may need to walk to a bench.

I love this place, great empanadas and coffee, and normally great service. Been coming often since they opened this location to support their business.

One thing I’d like to change though is handicap accessibility. I never noticed it before until I started using a knee scooter after a surgery that the cafe isn’t handicap friendly. The doors are hard to open and no one helps you 🤷‍♀ Please make more handicap accessible for our friends who need help with mobility ☺

Absolutely delicious empanadas! The ingredients taste fresh and flavorful. They have a lot of choice and plenty of unique options between meat or veggie. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back regularly!

Tiny neighborhood location, with excellent coffee drinks and pastries. The empanadas are hearty and delicious, and reasonably priced for a quick and healthy on-the-go meal. They always have vegetarian / vegan / gluten free options!

This is the second time I've tried Cafe Buenos Aires. The first time I went, they were near closing and I bought empanadas to heat up at home. That time was good, but I would have preferred to eat at the location. This time, I stopped in for lunch and tried the chorizo empanada and the spinach feta empanada. Both were really good (warm, nice texture, well seasoned) and I was able to sit outside in the open seating on a nice day. Pop on by for coffee, empanadas, and dessert!

I had the soyrizo empanadas every morning while staying in the area for the weekend. They were excellent. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quick but delicious bite.

Amazing staff. Surprisingly fantastic latte. Best coffee in a 2 mile radius. Empanadas are also on point. Only thing I don’t recommend is their smoothies. Weak smoothies.

Chorizo empanada was great and the Chagaccino drink was even better! It was delicious and comes with a double shot to get u going. Definitely be coming back...

An absolute gem. The best empanadas I have ever had...and I've had a lot!! Most empanadas can be dry, not these! The pastry is tender but sturdy to hold all the delicious fillings! We ordered sweet and savory. Mushroom- perfectly cooked mushrooms filled with flavor. Caprese- tomato, basil cheese amazing! Eggplant- bite size perfection, not chunky or bitter. Apple and peach ones are minced, so the bite is perfect. Can't say enough good things. Took a BUNCH home for the family. The service made everything even better. Kind, helpful and smiling. Sooo good! I had not tried empanadas like these before! I tried 4 of them, my favorites were Spinach & feta and the pumpkin pie! Will definitely be back!

The best empanadas! We tried all the three vegan options they offer. Delicious 🤤
