Great first dine in experience waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Appetizers were perfectly cooked and portion size was more than sufficient. Our main entrees hit the spot! Flavorful and delicious. Will recommend to friends and family thank you.

First time visit and absolutely loved the time I spent eating in. Staff are friendly and prompt, the food is amazing and you can see the chef as they work, overall 5/5.
Will happily come by again to eat some more dishes!

Fabulously fresh salmon in the bento box... also very fresh sashimi. A bit expensive but I felt we got what we paid for. We unknowingly came at the last minute before they closed for their 1-1/2 hour lunch break at 2:15 pm so they rushed us to order which wasn't cool. Aside from that, we really enjoyed eating lunch and will happily go back when they are open.

I was out in Ashland for a couple weeks for work and fast food was getting old at lunch time every day.... When I spotted bonsai out the corner of my eye as I have eaten at the couple I knew about so I peeked my stomach's interest. As per usual it did not fail to quench my tastebuds and appetite. The waitress was very helpful and quick with everything. She also let us know about the special's.. that actually saved us a few dollars . I would definitely recommend if your in the area to stop in and enjoy the food .

Great service and beautiful food dishes. Recommend if you are ever in town or near, the food is actually that good that I would honestly take a road trip just to get the food.

Super good japanese food!! Portions are Super big but delicious. Worth it for the price. I highly recommend the amber roll. The staff was super friendly and attentive.

Bento box is the best!

I went by myself Saturday. The food was delicious and luckily I love leftovers! It was a busy night and the staff always made sure to check on me.

Had the bulgogi. So good! They have a wonderful selection of Japanese, Korean, and Thai food. Very good stock in their tonkotsu ramen. We'll come back next time we're in town

The food tasted absolutely amazing!!! The presentation was very appealing. And the service wasn't too bad! Highly recommend the monkey brain and cheesy wonton. A shout out of awesomeness to the guy that gave us his table while waiting for take out. Thank you for being an amazing human.

The atmosphere is very standard, might could use an uplift.
The service is pretty good.

It's tough to give a 5 because it's not quite there, but it's more than a 4 from the food alone.

The sushi is always fresh, perfectly proportioned, and wrapped.
The spicy ramon has that heat, but not to where it ruins the flavor.

That, plus the speed of food ordering to reception, is also great (at least for a party of 2 it has been every time I've gone).

The service at Bonsai was great. Every time my water was low someone filled it. They let me customize my sushi roll.

Brought Edamame and a great pickled cucumber salad. I normally hate cucumbers but this salad was very good. There were even pieces of shrimp on it.

Overall great place and I’ll be coming back.

My favorite place to go for sushi. Due to food allergies I have to avoid some dishes, but staff are helpful with substitutions. Seems like mostly locals eat there, so getting a table usually isn't much of a wait.

Very unique menu. Our servers were very sweet. Delicious!
