Hiro Ramen

A delightfully comforting bowl of ramen.
Had a lite lunch here with my wife and we were both very pleased.

Appetizer: For a starter so we tried their Agedashi tofu. Lightly fried in a rice flour sitting in a tasty sauce. There is a texture journey with the lightly crispy breading, soft tofu, and mochi texture from the sauced breading. It was quite delightful.

Entree: Tonkotsu with pork. It’s exactly what we want in a ramen. Excellent broth with black garlic oil. Well flavored, not too salty or heavy. Noodles were perfectly cooked and the pork belly was superb. The only minor issue I had was that the corn tasted obviously canned.

The service was very fast, attentive, and polite.

If you’re looking for Ramen, this is a great place.

One of many fine restaurants in Ashland. We arrived at open, and there were a couple tables filled by the time we were done.
Portion sizes will fill you, so consider sharing if you are visiting.
Children may like the chicken teriyaki if they are unaccustomed to Ramen.

Hiro is one of my favorite places to go on a date with my husband, and it is our favorite place to get take-out from. We always get the tonkotsu ramen, and it has never disappointed us. Thank you for being a reliably amazing restaurant!

Stopping through after long travels and found this awesome little gem! Got the curry and tonksu ramen. Delicious, fresh and came quick. Kids enjoyed the teriyaki chicken, which was a great portion to split between the two of them. Waiter was great! Definitely recommend

Very friendly and professional staff. I don't know the waiter's name but he did an amazing job. He deserves a raise. My son loved the Ramen dish he got and I enjoyed it as well.

Great Ramen spot in the heart of Ashland. Both the Pork Tonkotsu and Curry Chicken ramen were AMAZING. So creamy and delicious. The Tako-yaki was spot on as well, loved watching those things dance! Will definitely be going back.

Hiro Ramen in Ashland Oregon. An amazing place with great service! Owner was very personable and helped us greatly with our choices not having been to a Ramen Shop. The Ramen was Delicious! The owner even brought us out a complimentary desert which was very good! We will be going back for more in the future. We found our Ramen Shop!

We arw visiting from Cali and it was raining and we wanted some soup. Most delicious Ramen I've had so far. Location is a bit small. But I had the spicy Ramen, husband had curry chicken bowl. My kids all found something to eat and enjoyed it very much.

Delicious ramen! Although appearing to be short-staffed the night we were there, our waiter Kyle was attentive & scurrying around to meet everyone's needs. The ramen has a deep flavor; when I ordered mine "spicy" it had the perfect balance of heat without destroying the flavor! The pork Chashu isn't anything special though, and neither is the tofu (both seemed to be simply thawed & served...). However, we will definitely come back next time we're in Ashland!

Great little place, very clean with plants accenting everywhere. Service was wonderful and attentive. Food was flavorful and well priced. They have this hot oil on the table that I dumped on my teriyaki chicken and it was so delicious! I will definitely be back to this little gem.

Stopped in for a quick bite while travelling. Been here before and it is consistently great! Had tonkatsu ramen with pork for protein. Will definitely get it again!

Excellent service. Quick and clean. Waiter was very friendly. Food was delicious and very reasonable. Ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen and miso rame. Also had the chicken karaage for appetizer.

This place is so quaint and great! Came here with some friends on a trip to Oregon and had the spicy chicken, even now back home, I miss the food I had here. Our server was the nicest and most personable dude and service was amazing! Absolutely go here, nothing beats it.

The pork tonkatsu ramen was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was exactly what you want from a ramen shop. I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in Ashland!

The tonkotsu ramen with pork belly is so amazing! The broth is rich without being oily and full of flavor. The pork belly literally melts in your mouth. My husband and I drive 2.5 hours just for this ramen. I grew up near San Francisco and this tiny shop in Ashland is the best ramen I've ever had!
