Our first visit here was some time ago and it was great. This visit was equally enjoyable in every regard. Exceptional Japanese style food and sushi. Everything we ordered was a happy dance of flavors in our mouths. Entire staff is polite, professional and unintrusive. Many thanks to our server Brian, whom unknowingly treated us to a fantastic evening for our 43rd anniversary. Cheers!

My fiance and I walked in and were able to get a seat without reservation, we had the best sushi we've had in southern Oregon. I got the sunshine roll which definitely lives up to its name, the atmosphere was nice as well

Everything was excellent!
My husband and I usually get one roll each. This night we tried the Kobe Sliders - oh so good! Japanese Fried Chicken - perfect! The Northwest roll for him. And I had the Sky Diver roll, which was amazing!
The Northwest has tiny bits of lemon so I would recommend trying it after cleansing your palate first and then after if you are sharing rolls.
We sat outside (reservations recommended on weekends) and it was very pleasant. Looks like you can sit out there most of the year.

This place is actually super tasty! Best sushi I've had in a while! And the presentation of the food was also very fancy and beautifully done. It's a cozy restaurant on the bottom half of a larger complex. They have indoor and outdoor seating on a little balcony.

I LOVE this restaurant, always fresh and uncompromising on quality! Local woman-owned business downtown Ashland that hits the spot! Nice porch/patio outdoor seating along with indoor comfortable booths and a nice bar if you are like me and enjoy high seats and shiny reflections ;) Perfect for date night or family. 5 stars!

We loved this cozy, amazing place on the creek. Service was impeccable, food superb, had a lovely evening.

We travel from the Bay Area for the surf and turf roll!! It’s amazing. The cocktails are also a highlight every time that we go. Wait staff is so friendly and wonderful. This place is absolutely amazing!

A nice restaurant for dates or groups. When it's not cold out it's nice to sit outside near the creek. I think this is the only or one of two Japanese restaurants in Ashland, the rest are really just facsimiles. This restaurant definitely has its own vision for the food, which is great as far as the originality is concerned. Although that means you miss out on some of the traditional Japanese restaurant items like Gyoza or soups. The food that is available is great and they have a good handle on what is fresh fish. I would hope the management does more in the future to detail where their fish comes from and utilizes more responsible sources.

Flour less cake for dessert. Delicious. Sushi,sake,scenery and atmosphere is great. Ask your server for sake pairing...

What an awesome experience my wife and I had last night. Service was perfect and the sushi was very impressive. The delicious rolls were well balanced with fresh clean flavors that complimented the fish rather than cover it up. Presentation was simple and elegant.

For dessert I had a scallop nigiri and my wife, an oyster shooter. Both of us were pleased. I received two beautiful scallops that were incredibly sweet. It was the perfect end to a lovely dinner.

We ended up spending less than I had anticipated. A very nice value for the quality and quanity. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent service. sushi was very good. Really liked the sampler. Enjoyed the tempura veggies with shrimp. Impressive selection to sake. Outside by the river is a nice atmosphere, a bit noisy inside.

Had dinner here and was delighted! The service was great, the food delicious, and the cocktails even more so. I highly recommend the Kobe Drop. The serving sizes from the entree were very generous and the items on the "small bites" menu were perfect for splitting between my wife and myself.

My absolute favorite restraunt. Always a wonderful expirence, amazing sushi, and the atmosphere is so inviting. My husband & i have been going here for the last 4 years. Celebrating birthdays, our anniversary, and always whenever we have family in town visiting. Kobe is a MUST for anyone that loves quality sushi.

We had a group of 11 for my daughters birthday and no restaurants would seat us without splitting our group. I called Kobe and they were happy to help. They set us up a patio table with great heaters. They were a little short staffed but you'd never know. Staff was attentive and courteous. The meal was over the top! Fresh and articulately prepared. We couldn't have been happier!

Tranquil atmosphere with upscale and creative rolls. They are very allergen friendly. The vegan rolls are quite possibly the best in the valley.

We go there often. We always enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Hands down the best dinner spot in Ashland! Two things to know ahead of time: dinner here is a slower pace, so plan for a couple hours; the food comes out dish by dish, not all at once.
