Loved this hometown breakfast spot. The food was terrific, a friend and I both had the chorizo Benedict and got a side French toast for the table. Ooooh boy, was everything piping hot and perfect when delivered and consumed.

I don’t know who decided frying waffles was a good idea but… whoever it was deserves ALL the awards. Second best breakfast of my life. Second only to an East Coast breakfast, in the middle of the biggest snowstorm seen in Boston in decades, I happened to be visiting for, with an old friend (just to contextual it). So, this breakfast was still epic, despite listening to my sassy child.
I also got the stuffed hash browns to try. And take home. And definitely not share. With anyone. Ever.
Amazing!
And, friendliest staff ever, yet not overbearing.
Overall, I would rate this place 10 out of 5 stars. In the famous words of the great Mr. T, “I pity the fool” who doesn’t try this place.

The food was incredible and so flavorful. Service was excellent and super friendly. I highly recommend going here. The chorizo eggs benedict was spectacular.

The food here was exceptional and the customer service was even better. Definitely recommend trying a side of their homemade gravy with anything. The pancakes were so delicious and fluffy. If you're in Yakima looking for a place to eat this is the one!

The staff is kind and very helpful. The owner is always around making sure everyone is having a great experience. This is the best breakfast in Yakima. People talk about the powerhouse grill, if you are 85 maybe it is great. But the flair and quality of food at the Mainstop is awesome. This is a gem that should have a line out the door on the weekend.

First time eating here. I base the breakfast experience on the quality of the pancake. The pancake was stellar which set the stage for the Manchaka Omellete. It was a great experience. Another breakfast place I will rank up there with my other favorite Yakima spot. You'll love this place!

Went in today and ordered a Sweet Potato skillet. A simple meal but so good and healthy. I use a calorie tracker and the owner, Maria, was great and asked the kitchen for the measurements for each ingredient for me to enter into my app. 10/10 food and service! I also really like the churro waffle when I’m not watching my calories lol

The food here was delicious. I’ve been here once before but the long wait was just not for me. This time we didn’t have to wait as long and I tried the breakfast bowl and it definitely hit the spot. The hash brown could have have a bit more crispy though. And I appreciated the ability to add extra veggies (I added tomato to my eggs).

Ill start by saying I look forward to coming again. The food was overall quite yummy and the staff were right to business while maintaining a warmth in service.

My wife had the eggs benny, one egg was perfect and the other needed 30 seconds. (The only reason why not 5 stars...On our next trip back I'm sure Main Stop will get it back)

I would like to draw attention to the dish I had, which I found exceptional in comparison to all other breakfast foods I have had in my time, the loaded burrito. There is a level of creativity or audacity to whoever cooked this thing up. On the outside its just another 14 inch tortilla, on the inside is a most wonderful combination of morning desirables...this is where the genius comes. Buried and surrounded by eggs, jalapeños and bacon, like a caterpillar in a chrysalis, are stuffed hashbrowns!!! Insanity! And just like the butterfly that emerges after fully maturing, flying and delighting those that look upon it, the loaded burrito makes one feel obligated to be happy with each bite. There is not fighting of the ingredients for who shall shine, together they deliver a symphony of flavor!

If this is your first time here and you have brought an appetite, you must order the loaded burrito. While I upon returning will painfully explore the rest of the menu, knowing if I choose anything else, will miss out on the best damn breakfast burrito I have ever had.

Update: came back with fam and went sweet instead of savory. Stuffed French Toast with peaches. Absolutely delicious. All eggs cooked to expectations of the wife. Earned that 5th star.

I love the French toast! I always ask for ‘Banana Foster’ and they always make it for me without any problems even though it’s not on the menu. The service is wonderful and personable.

Friendly and old-fashioned family place. Great food: eggs over medium was made just right, and portion was perfect size. 👍 👍

I got the French toast sandwich and it was delicious. It was a lot of food for a single serving and the hash browns were really good. The location is really cute.

10:30 a.m. and it’s hard to find s place to eat. Luckily this little spot is open at 7:00 a.m.
The waitress was extremely pleasant and well mannered. It was a little cold inside but at least you know the AC works!
The meal:
I ordered chilaquiles, which is not on the menu, but I had seen pictures. It’s rare for me to find a place that serves chilaquiles. They were tasty though not spicy.
My husband ordered a salad. We both had coffee, that was bottomless and she even served me a fresh cup to go. Our check totaled at about $27. Which is pretty average.

Overall great place!

If you’re looking for a new regular weekend breakfast or brunch restaurant or if you are looking to stop somewhere for a quick and delicious bite, this is THE place to go in the heart of Yakima.
The decor and building is certainly rustic with a touch of a warm, inviting demeanor. It is adorable and comfortable. The wait staff is very friendly and polite and makes sure to make appropriately frequent stops at your table to make sure everything is good.
Coming here while my boyfriend and I waited for our car to get an alignment done was such a good decision. The food is amazing and satisfying and the pricing is decent for the amount and quality that you receive . Will definitely be coming again!

Super good food, very nice waiter named Bryan, and wait time wasn’t very long for noon lunch. The room we ate in was a bit loud.

Just discovered this semi traditional brunch gem in the old train station. They have a few twists on the classics but plenty of classics if that’s your jam. We sat in the garden room which was lovely - open and bright with sunlight. Chorizo Benedict and French egg breakfast sandwich were both awesome as were the stuffed hash browns. Definitely recommend the upgrade for those. Will be back to try more from the menu. So many dishes looked good it was hard to decide.

The most amazing breakfast food in downtown Yakima. Perhaps the best in the world. Just so good. And you can trust me, because I'm fat. Serious cannot recommend this place enough.

Update 9 Months Later: still amazing. God save Main Stop on the Ave.
