Some of the best service in Yakima I’ve experienced. All the food we ordered was well cooked and seasoned. Great place to get traditional tasty breakfast.

Walking into the front door, you are transported into an amazing winter lodge scene. My group of 3 had to wait a bit since we hit the morning rush, but it was worth it. We all enjoyed our meals that included the chilaquiles, veggie skillet, and the French toast.
The staff were friendly, kind, and quick.
I will definitely be back to try more yummy food!

Omg I love this place! The service absolutely amazing and super friendly and very clean. I ordered Chilakilles and Cornbeef hash with an egg on top. With salsa Verde! Highly recommended this chill and awesome restaurant. 👌

Under new management. 2 of the best workers at Waffles Cafe now own Backwoods and we've gone every weekend since they've opened. Great food, great service, clean and cozy seating. I'm a sucker for their Chicken Fry skillet. The menu is kinda convoluted at the moment but they're working on it and honestly you should know what you want before you get there haha

Loved finding this gem. I had Peanut Butter French Toast. I had never had this before. I loved how unique the dish was. The waitress was amazing. She was friendly and attentive.

Hidden gem in downtown Yakima. Great food. The chorizo skillet was really good. Proces are very reasonable for the area. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Hats off to the chef.

Food was amazing and reasonably priced! They were very upfront about how long the wait to order was. Everyone consistently checked on us to make sure everything was up to par. They had amazing attitude and smiles! Tried for the first time and will absolutely go back!

We got the backwoods platter and the fajita breakfast skillet. Definitely recommend.

The waitress were all very friendly services. Great food was ordered on time. Cannot say anything bad about it. My breakfast was amazing.

I've been here a couple times and it's always decent. It's a lot of the same food that's everywhere else, just done better. I did have their corned beef hash this morning and it was good. If I've had better corned beef hash somewhere I don't remember it. The all meat scramble thing was good too so I was told.

Complete 180 from the last time we were there. Everyone greeted us, service was great, food was extremely good. This new attitude made for a great outing.

Backwoods Cafe never disappoints! My breakfast was very tasty and I really enjoyed it. The best thing about this place is the service! Exemplary treatment from the staff and very attentive. Prices really decent too! Two thumbs up for sure. 👍👍

Beautiful interior. Excellent service. Delicious food. My mom and I needed somewhere to have breakfast while waiting for my tires at Firestone and we chose Backwoods Cafe. It was amazing. We would definitely go again. Scramble was yummy. White toast was delicious. French Toast was TO DIE FOR. 😋 Thanks for a great experience!

Staff was very attentive with refills of coffee and water. Their patience while trying to decide what I wanted to order was appreciated.

Everything was really delicious. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and quality of the food. The Mexican twists on the menu were great. Very friendly servers. Would definitely return if in the area.

This place is soo cute! & the food is delicious!! They have sooo much to chose from! I definitely recommend grabbing some breakfast! biscuits didn’t taste home made, but they were still good! They have such unique plates. For example, pineapple omelet! I didn’t get the omelette, but you should stop by and try it if you’re a pineapple fanatic. Nice place to take the family. Looking forward to going back.
