I had the Rocky salmon for the first time. And it was absolutely incredible. The lemon on top was just amazing.

I have eaten here 3 or 4 times and every single time, the fish has always been super fresh. :)

Hands down the best sushi I've ever had 🥰 my fiance and I tried a plethora of things from the menu and loved all of it! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!

My favorite restaurant in town. I love their sushi and always fresh fish. Their bento boxes are great. I recommend their Noodle Soup with Soba noodles with beef. Yaki Soba is delicious. My favorite rolls are the Salmon Roll, Spicy Mango Shrimp Roll, Vegas Roll, Spider Roll, Rainbow Roll, and Sweet Heart Roll.

Awesome! Living so far inland I'm pretty careful about my seafood. These folks do a great job. I ordered pick up so I don't know how the service is but they were really cool when I picked up. Looked pretty clean too. Only sushi in La Grande that HASN'T made me sick.

I love the sushi here the price is great they have a happy hour deal that comes out to 5$ for a roll (6 peaces of sushi) witch is great and the Thai tea is amazing the staff are friendly and welcoming I've eaten here three day's in a row now and am working my was through the menu for fun its all good and am looking forward to coming back for more this place is definitely worth it

Went here as a date with my wife, and got the sushi-boat for 2, which was AMAZING.

Creative, fresh sushi in rural Oregon?! Yep! The ambiance, selections and service were all quality..and I'm a snobby Seattle sushi lover. LOL Seriously impressed; the rocky salmon role had fresh slices or orange on top that were unique and delightful!

We had the the vegetable roll and pad thai. Both were really good.

Appreciate the more authentic dishes here.
I actually like their Miso soup, which surprised me. My only complaint is their music choice. It would be even MORE amazing with authentic Japanese music. The food and decorations make for an authentic vibe until you notice the music.

Best (out of an admittedly small selection) sushi place in La Grande/Island City. Since the closing of Thai Fresh's sushi bar, I come here for good food. Service isn't bad, but there is a slight language barrier that makes communication an issue.

I ate there tonight (07/14/22) at around 7:30 pm. I do not understand why the place was empty except for three people that came in as I left.

I ordered three different kinds of tuna sashimi. I would put that sashimi up against the same fish in any of the snooty Portland places where I have eaten. This fish was better. I never expected it, but was pleasantly surprised.

They should be charging at least twice the price on their menu.

Waitress was pleasant and wait times were appropriate. About 10 to 12 minutes, (but the place was empty).

Great sushi and sake. Comfortable restaurant but also good to go.

The fried rice was great and pretty cheap too. Had the right amount of stickiness on the rice and plenty of veggies. The yakisoba was good too. I'll definitely order again if I find myself up here again.

Clean interior. Delicious foods. Great service.
