Mountain Glen Golf Club

Played here for the first time today. Course was in great shape and challenging. Tee time was earlier so greens were wet and slower. When the sun came out the greens sped up in a hurry. Staff was friendly, pace of play was fast. Layout was very nice and had good variation. Enjoyable place to play. Had a discount coupon on their website so cost $60 per person, comparable for the area.

Sorry not to have better photos but for a public course it was very fun to play and alot of beautiful homes all around the course. Good water traps to make it challenging. All the staff was great and has very good food. Don't know what the normal charge was because I am staying at the RV park Down By The River and we get a discount rate.

Should be much more expensive than it is. Rare public track in the high country that has prime conditions even in colder season. Great classic Cobb layout

Great course. Really nice greens. The views are great as is the challenging layout. We had a terrific time.

One of our favorites and this past weekend the course did not disappoint. The staff is always nice and respectful. The course was in very good shape and the greens rolled and rolled haha. You should stay below the hole to risk rolling off the front of some of the greens. We love this course and will keep it on our rotation. Well done!

This has to be one of the Most Beautiful Golf Courses in the Country. Highly recommend. Great staff and a Beautiful quiet town close to Ski Resorts in Western North Carolina and Not far from Bristol Tennessee/Va

Wonderful course. Has a lot of character. The greens and fairways were awesome. First time playing it and I can't wait to play it again. Especially after the bad round I had today. It was challenging enough to throw my swing off but I loved every hole. I believe the back 9 is my favorite.

My sons and I had a great time at Mountain Glen today. The course is the right balance of challenge, strategy and outright fun. Great views, great conditions and very friendly staff. A must play if you looking for some enjoyable golf in the mountains!

Great golf course! Fairways and greens were in great shape. Challenging course but very playable. Staff were friendly especially the young lady in the snack bar.

Was pretty impressed, got a 4pm round in less than 4 hrs. The course was in very good shape considering the lack of rain we've had. The greens were in, very, very good shape.

Mountain Glen is a nice well kept up semi private golf course. A friend and I played it while our wives where competing in a member guest at Beech Mountain. Although we could only play 16 holes because of heavy rain we thoroughly enjoyed the course. The greens were great and the course was very playable. The hamburgers were first rate. I recommend this course highly.

This is my favorite course in NC!! Beautiful course with great views and some difficult holes. This course makes you think about your shot. The greens are absolutely perfect.

Great public golf course near Banner elk.

My favorite course to play! Beautiful scenery and well kept. Get the club sandwich at the grill - best sandwich I've ever had. Always end up getting two of them at a minimum.

This course is a very good George Cobb design. He is known for his ability to give you varying challenges which requires you to use every club in your bag. Nothing Mickey Mouse anywhere. Bring your patience, pick the right set of tees, and enjoy the course and views.

Even though is a little chilly day the course was in awesome shape. The greens were fast but fair and the grass was Lush. Loved it!

Best staff of any golf course. The course is always in great condition. Kudos to the superintendent and especially to all the guys who run the golf course and work in the pro shop

The course is well laid out. Beautiful Frasier firs everywhere. The grill is a special treat. I really enjoy this place.
