Cafe India

My husband and I drove over an hour and half for this restaurant!! He travels for work and he stopped there one day for lunch. He knew he had to bring me since I have never had Indian food. Once I tried it, they instantly became one of my favorite places to eat! The service, people, everything it’s all so nice. It’s not too overwhelming and everything taste like they are actually putting time into it not just slapping something together. I highly recommend! We will continue to drive the hour and a half no problem! These guys are 1000% worth every penny!!

Rose took very good care of me and the food was truly excellent -- So much flavor and so very well prepared! Youngstown does not really have any other Indian options, but we are so fortunate to have this one. I don't get here often, though I order via DoorDash sometimes, but I've never once been disappointed with the food or service. Being here is very relaxing too. Maybe it's all the wonderful aromas! Clean restaurant, authentic peaceful music. I hope more people come patronize this wonderful place.

My first time trying Indian food and all I can say is I will definitely be back! The samosas were delicious and the chili chicken had the perfect amount of spice. We tried the butter chicken with rice and 3 different types of naan—- all so so good! My husband got the tandoori chicken and the mulligatawny soup and loved it. Of course we had to try dessert- I loved the rice pudding!! We will def return!!! Don’t miss the opportunity to eat here- you will not be disappointed!!

Wow! What an awesome place. My friends and I love coming here for the wonderful food and incredible service. I always leave happy and full, I can’t wait to come back and experience more flavors and dishes. The buffet is a great option if you want to try something without committing to a full order of it. I’ll be back!

Very quiet and clean joint. Service can be on the slower side but the food makes up for it! Absolutely phenomenal food I could eat here daily. Their mango smoothie is also super good. I highly recommend this place to anyone even if you've never tried Indian it will be a great experience.

Thank you for the wonderful service Rose&Shriya. I love the butter chicken and momo. The food tastes so good that after the first time my wife had it she got it for us the next three days. We have it at least once a week. I recommend Cafe India for the delicious food and the kind and knowledgeable staff.

I enjoyed the experience and the food. I got lamb Indian hot and it was spicy and delicious. Ms. Rose served me and did a fine job. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

A very extensive menu for all tastes and levels of "spicy"... I love all of the vegetarian/vegan options and the portions are nice enough to make 2 meals out of in my opinion. It's a place a friend of mine and I go on occasion when all we want is good Indian food!!

This place is the best Indian food I’ve had by far!! Trying every Indian place I’ve come across in different cities like Columbus, I’ve still found cafe India to be the best! The chicken korma is to die for, but with that the servers and staff are so helpful it makes it a delight of an experience! A special thanks to the servers Rose and Shriya for taking care of me and meeting all my expectations!

Absolutely amazing food!! The first round they sent out wasn't spicy enough for me, but they were so prompt in fixing it and made it spicy to the desired levels. I absolutely suggest this place to anyone who wants good quality Indian food!!

I've been there 3 times now, ordered a different entree each time and was very good every time. The owner/chef always comes to the table and makes sure everything was to our liking. Definitely would recommend! It's worth our hour and a half drive.

I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. The food is always a 10/10, the portions are more than reasonable, and the service is always top notch. We always come back!

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Loved everything we tried - Samosa, Momo, Tandoori Chicken, Garlic Naan, Chicken Curry, Vegetable Korma, and rice pudding. Way more food than needed and can't wait for leftovers tomorrow!

I'm obsessed with the butter chicken. It's literally all I want to eat. The basmati rice just by itself is delicious too. I always enjoy the food.

Introduced a buddy to Indian for the first time. It did not disappoint. Had the chili chicken appetizer and a combo of chicken tandoori, lamb curry, and mixed vegetables. It was knock your socks off good. Highly recommend this place when you have a craving for Indian/Thai. (They do have some Thai offerings as well.). Try the Taj Mahal beer too. It's excellent. Great service. Will go back.

Really great value for the 11-3 lunch buffet. The food was so delicious. I will definitely return if I’m in the area.
