Susie's Westside Cafe is a diminutive diner near the popular Bear Creek Dog Park. There is a spacious patio area for outdoor dining.

This place does it right - the open concept allows diners to watch food being prepared in a spotlessly clean kitchen. The food is delicious and reasonably priced - and served by some of the best waitstaff in Colorado Springs.

PRO TIP: Try Susie's homemade pies. The chocolate pie is incredible and best shared - it's so filling you'll struggle to finish one piece by yourself.

Food was delicious and served pretty quick. Then again we arrived when it wasn’t busy. The young chick working there needs to learn professional manners and not flip off her coworkers in front of customers. Maybe that’s how they get along but that should be done in the back away from customers field of view.

Comfort food in a restaurant run and owned by West side locals. This diner is the genuine article, and it serves up generous portions of breakfast and lunch. Their green chili is spicy without being punishing.Come hungry!

Stopped in for breakfast — NOT disappointed! It was a really solid breakfast. Quite generous portions that were flavorful and hearty. Our group had French toast, an eggs Benedict, the Hobo Scramble, and pancakes. All were much enjoyed. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice morning.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Would totally visit again!

Also, get a Cinnamon Roll if you can!

Susie’s Westside Cafe is a hidden gem here in Colorado Springs. Portions are generous, price is fair, food is SCRUMPTIOUS, and the service was wonderful. Heather and Rilee (waitress) made sure to create such a friendly atmosphere that it puts you right at ease as soon as you walk through the door. Would absolutely recommend and return to this lovely eatery. Keep up the great work!

It was a spur of the moment after hiking 7 Bridges we decide to stop for lunch. We were very pleased with our experience. The server was friendly and quick with our order. Portions were huge considering the prices but tasty so we woofed it all down. We had the Eggs Benedict Classic, Chicken fried Chicken, Burrito and all were great! Will keep this on my list of places to return to.

A good experience in every way..I got a spinach omelette, but they didn't have that as a dish to be recommended.. PERFECT

Sunday morning at 10 is very busy, but people are willing to share tables! Sit at the counter to watch all the cooking action, because it is non stop. Food is excellent, hot, well seasoned, huge portions. I am not a coffee drinker, but the iced tea was good. Staff is very friendly and it was all around A+!

Wonderful food. She makes homemade jam, cinnamon rolls, pies, etc. We just ordered several to go due to being so full from the tasty entrees. Great customer service, very nice people. Hands down the best cinnamon roll and apple pie I've ever had!

Cute little diner with good service, good food, and a nice view. I had the kielbasa sandwich and my kid had a burger, both were very good. It is kind of small, but they have a great outdoor seating area when the weather’s nice. Oh, and clean bathrooms!

A hidden gem! We loved the family atmosphere and how the employees interacted with each other and us. We sat at the bar and got a show watching Jill single handedly cook for everyone. The veggie omelette was wonderful. You can sub a pancake for toast which is totally worth it. The bandito bowl was fantastic. We were full for 6 hours after this wonderful meal.

Quiet calm atmosphere, great fast service. Food was good and portions weren’t overbearing. Probably one of the best places we ate on our trip here!

If I could give them 10 stars I would, i don't have that many "fingers" so they get 8! Amazing cinnamon rolls! My favorite dish is the hashbrowns with a ton of veggies and a bit of sausage and cheese. Today I was a bit tired, but still got some bacon!

Was in town for a hockey tournament found this place on Google I had the hamburger steak and eggs with the home fries it was excellent. My wife had the breakfast burrito and hash browns the only downside is the hash browns did kind of have a funny taste. Our waitress was excellent the coffee was fantastic I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Amazing breakfast joint, Susies makes the best cinnamon rolls!!! Get them as quick as possible they sell so fast..

Update:
After going to this breakfast joint for the past 3 weeks, the food is still amazing, consistently on point regardless who is the cook. The waiter all the way to the owners give you a family welcome and they treat you as such. Only breakfast/lunch spot I’ll go in all Colorado Springs.

After my favorite breakfast place went out of business thanks to Polis' covid restrictions, I found Susie's cafe. Their food is just next level of delicious. I come here at least once a week, and I can never get enough. They have a good selection of meals, and their staff are extremely friendly and professional. Come here for some good *ss breakfast food! Susie's is just the BEST! Small dining area is warm and comfy, with the staff continually checking on you as they pass by with hot plates of fabulous foods. Green chili is great too! Be prepared to be stuffed!

Great local breakfast spot. Friendly staff and amazing food. We had the Heuvos Rancheros, Breakfast Burrito and half order of biscuits and gravy. Everything came out hot and made to order. Seating is limited so wake up early!
